Wow, it took me some time but I was able to read therough all of this. So many people that I know, and a few that I am hoping to get to know.
I hate writing about myself, and its kind of weird as there are quite a few of you out there that know me more personally, but here it goes anyway.
My name on "TOS" was/is NoRegretsEver, I was know for threads, and not so much posts, but loved having a place to share my voice, and am mostly known for taking 6 months for writing one thread, that I followed relentlessly.
I am 40 years old, recently moved to Texas, born and raised in the Bronx, NYC. I am a mother of 4, twin boys 22, and 2 girls 16 and 10. Cooking is my passion, I cater food, and work part time as a sales rep for HSN, and am currently a co-host on another show outside of "TOS" but my co-host is also a member in this wonderful group.
I am single, and happy that way, as this world is full of nutty nuts LOL, myself included, so its a trial within itself. I am looking for a new residence hopefully by the ocean, and love to have a Jack and Coke at 3 am, listen to some Prince, and have Bugs Bunny muted on television in the background, and if I am truly in a good mood, a nice medium well steak can make a night magical!!
I love all subjects, though I have no formal education, growing up in NYC in the 80's reading wasnt exactly "cool", though I thought that my "nerd status" was not noticeable, I was corrected by friends and my ex-husband who apparently said, that it was never a secret.
Not until my 30's did I go full force into research, it started with religion and well, has escalated to what I do today. I am straight forward, open, and come to the table with as much as I would like in return, in other words if you dont know, look it up :). I respect everyones opinion, no matter how much I may disagree, but personal attacks are never necessary to prove a point.

Well, Everyone has told about themselves except us, my husband and me. There are three people on there board who actually know how I met my husband. No One at T O S knows. So here goes, My husband said it's OK, you still don't know us,,, That's Kind of Funny right there really!
I think it's Only Right That I tell you how my husband and I met. OK, First off, as you know, I'm Chinese and I met my husband in China.
I worked for the MSS (国家安全部) that is,, Ministry of State Security in China, that's China's version of America's C I A. My assignment was to follow, take notes and investigate any one Mr.G made contact with or made eye contact with for any suspicious period of time.
I was chosen because every male that was put on him, Mr. G. successfully Tagged, or Made. He was good, the best I was told, 7 men had failed and three were in the hospital for actually attempting to man handle these Monster,,,, God Lord, He wears a size 13 EEE shoe and is 6' 1" tall and was then 210 lbs. He wears a size 14 ring. I was, lets not kid each other Afraid and Intimidated.
I had just came back from a very successful operation in Kiev and Servia and one in Vietnam a year earlier. So I wasn't New or Green or without being Bloodied. Now, My husband was or is N S A and often more than not attached to the C I A. He has no H / S Diploma or College, just 12 years military and two voluntary tours in Vietnam, after the U. S. Army or just in his last year, he was recruited sent to training in Colorado and Georgia. Later after Reagan is elected he's sent to the Republic of Panama, Ft. Kobby for Jungle warfare training, except he wasn't being trained, he was training S. A. troops with Oliver North. After a year they sent him to Russia.
Fast forward,,,, they needed a Old Cold Warrior Reagan told him in China, (Mr. g had just came back from Moscow) Reagan said, we need some one that's not worried about getting done what needs to be done and we're not going to ask you how you did it.
My husband Liked Reagan anyway, he would have gone if he was naked!
So, it's three years mr. g is running around China and there's nothing the American Embassy in Beijing can do to him, the section chief's been told Hands Off That one, He's Black and You Haven't seen or heard of him unless he ask for your help. So the Central Committee in China is Going NUTS! Their contacts at the U S Embassy are no help and one is in the hospital,,,,
OK, Long story short, 6 or 8 months into my assignment I'm following mr' g and he's a handsome man, if only he'd lose that God Awful Mustache,,,,, Nasty Looking Thing, Yes I remember Exactly what I was thinking when the next thing I know, I look up, Straight Up into the Big Brown Eyes of mr g Smiling at Me! I scamper back and as I'm doing that I draw my 380 from my back holster and Shot the Big Smiling American in The thigh, Twice!
He stumbles back, grabs his thighs and looks at me and says, I only wanted your Phone Number, I noticed you yesterday and I think you're the Most Beautiful Woman In the World and Now You shot me. He keeps Smiling and says,,,, Yes, The Big APE says,,,, I remember like it was yesterday,,,,"Does this mean we can't go out?"
Needless to say. I was pulled from him and he was released from the hospital and nothing was in the news, I quit 4 months later because they found out we were dating,,,,, YES, I couldn't resist!
18 months later we're married and then it took about 22 months for me to get an interview for a Visa to come to America.

Mrs. G, what an amazing and cool story about how you and Mr. G met!!!! I bet there aren't many people who have such an interesting tale to tell. That was really awesome. Sounds like something out of a movie! LOL
I bet a lot of husbands wonder if their wives would ever shoot them. You're always hearing men say " No, I'd love to but I can't. My wife would shoot me if I did!"
I was born and raised in California, my real name is Rick. I chose Marlin Grace because I loved fishing out of San Diego for tuna and when I watched those darn fishing shows on TV the Marlin always looked very graceful swimming through the water. I have been self employed most of my life, had some medical issues and retired last year at 56 years young. I have done many things in my life from gold mining to building car washes and the related equipment, my specialty is integrating computers to machinery, to creating a horse rescue for a friend and ended up running it for 10 years. The horses taught me a lot about animal behavior and people.
I was single since the age of 28 and finally met the right woman (the only one to put up with me) and moved to Williamsburg, Virginia 3 years ago. I will never go back to California now, it is so beautiful here and the people are so fabulous if I ever leave it will be to an area that is very rural on a lake somewhere. My wife is a CFO of a petroleum company, and we always talk about the banking situations, and the crazy things people think on TOS. I build websites in my spare time to keep my brain active, and finally convinced the wife to start another business out of the house 6 months ago and it is already doing incredibly well. Right now I am finishing construction here on an office, with a new garage for my motorcycles. So much for being retired! But I do everything at my pace now not someone elses. Contractors in Va. wake up every morning call their best friend and decide if they are going fishing, hunting or going to work. It has taken almost a year to get to drywall and flooring. (Really I am just jealous)
I have one 30yr old brat (Doesn't call dad enough) for a son, doing well in his life, flipping houses and investment banking. Two step sons, and dare I say 4 step grandchildren. You have no idea how hard it was to type that.
The only animals I have now is a dog named scotch (the kind you drink) because his coloring is the same. He is a Belgian Tervuren just a great fur ball of a breed he is my second one the first I had for 12 years and was a personal protection dog.
The wife and I love history, and of course Williamsburg, Va. is the place for that. We are heading back to Gettysburg for the 3rd time this year at the end of the month. Standing on the top of little round top you realize why the south didn't have a chance. I never thought as a macho man the place could bring me to tears but it does. I will always have to go back. I have even seen the little cave where Cornwallis surrendered, it's only 5 minutes from where I live. In the Williamsburg Colonial Village everyone dresses in period costume, speaks in period language, and the restaurants cook period food.
I am a huge supporter of the constitution, a conservative flag waving American that can't stand to listen to anyone knocking this fine country and the opportunities it has to offer. Although I think our politicians have made many very large mistakes and as it looks like there will be plenty more it is still the greatest place on earth.

Hello Lovey Hernandos. Leave it to my brain to turn a simple question like this into a jaunt through the existential. Who am I ?
I was born in 1968 in a wasteland town called Reseda. Some of you may recognize the name made famousish by various films and by the Tom Petty song called "Free Fallin". How he was able to channel a teenage girl living in The Valley I'll never know but that he did.
It was a city of parent-less children. By the time my last remaining parent moved away, when I was 14 and my Sis was 12 we had gathered together our very own tribe of lost children and set about the business of raising ourselves. I didn't realize until I was older that this was such a unique thing and what we all learned about Love there has been a guide line that holds me even now.
In those days there was very little "paperwork" needed to get a job so over the years I've become a Jill of all trades, from office supply sales to administrative work, general labor to customer service I've done them all at one point or another and in 1989 I had my Daughter, who was and is a wonderful genius that was sent to challenge my mind at every turn.
In 1992 a car wreck changed my life completely. The damage to my brain was extensive and I needed a simpler life. Looking back on my childhood, I was always dreaming about a life beyond the dirty concrete subdivisions. Somewhere green and alive. So in 1994, I packed up my Daughter and my Sis and we fled to the woods Northern California. We've been here ever since.
Living in the woods I've had the wonderful opportunity to learn from some great teachers to make fire, grow and keep food. One of the most useful skills I've learned out here is how to find and gather wild food and herbal medicines.
My other interests run the the gambit from political motivations to history and the paranormal. Mostly though it's people I love and find incredibly fascinating.
