Ok. So you are a Hernando now...so tell us a bit about you..

Well, just to clarify..I was a contributor with a loud enough opinion to get noticed at P.P. I never did more or anything remotely official with Jones stuff. I did get mentioned on air once by name tho.... He didn't like an opinion I had regarding his staff position on the Pentagon and 9/11. lol... It was interesting to hear the reply from the man himself, via radio and not text. Other than that? I'd call it the training ground to graduation up to TOS and sites of a whole different nature or tempo. 

Abiding conclusions? Heck... not much abiding these days, anyway. Conclusions? Not too much but to say this. I think my years online have shown me one thing. Folks online generally fall into 3 categories. 

#1. Seekers / Guides - These are the folks who define open searching for truth and facts online. I think, to some degree, we all have some of this in us. A % just lean more this direction than the other or the last, so I believe it makes a good size % of the people online.

#2. Readers/Lurkers - The bulk of people online. These are the folks who make the whole system work and who writers like me exist to serve. (well..Okay..kinda..lol). Anyway, they are the consumers of the content many others spend their life to produce on a daily basis. They generate the ad revenue by impression, they run the numbers which determine everything about modern site management and they form the vast majority of the online population. Without these folks? There is no point to any of the rest. No contributions to make...when no consumers exist to consume them. 

#3. The Bitter Pill - This has had many names over time. In the late 80's, we called them r0dents (with a zero...for it's meaning). In the early 90's, I recall them being referred to as Smurfs..and not in any complimentary way. By the 2000's, we've evolved to troll for a simple name. Whatever the name, they've existed since DARPANet evolved to include people without a security clearance. (possibly before! Who knows?). These folks exist to ridicule, tear down and undermine #1, so they can play the silly class clown role for #2. Its my experience that while tolerated at times, neither side appreciates or likes anything about trolls. They just exist on par with a roach. Nuclear weapons wouldn't get them all. :)

So... There are my conclusions, such as they are I guess. Just one humble bunny trying to make sense of a crazy world.

Through our travels and the many towns we have visited throughout the years, I learned not to past judgement on people a long time ago

It takes all kinds of walk of life to make the world go round and found that sometimes the simplest minded people are actually more refreshing to be near than the well-to-do uppity people

We all have different takes/views on certain topics yet no one is the better for it, not even me

I may disagree with what is being said but that doesn't make me right and the other person wrong
I just try to see why they have the view they hold and go from there

My husband is a good but tough man, but I wouldn't have him any other way!!
He on the other hand, is not quite as understanding as I sometimes, yet we offset each other nicely

Interesting bio. Greatly admire keeping your kids out of daycare. Though I hope you were also able to bond tons with them even with all the work???

Hmmm.. a little about myself...I am so terrible at these things. Well I guess I'll start with a name. My name is Nikki. Hi. I am slightly geeky, a bit of dreamer, but still manage to stay down to earth. I have several passions. I love to bake. There's something satisfying about being able to eat something you make from scratch. I also love reading. I typically prefer sci fi and fantasy, but enjoy a good manga/comic book now in again. I am also fascinated the unknown. Ghosts, spirits, other paranormal stuff. I have an open mind to most things. I currently live in Texas with my boyfriend and, now, 3 cats. I swear I am not the crazy cat lady on the block. I also have served four years in the United States Marine Corps. It was an interesting experience. I was fortunate to meet so many wonderful people.
