WRabbit and I have cooked up a handy little news feed widget, which appears below the "Recent Threads" widget.
It defaults to Google News, a general news aggregator, but there are options if you scroll down to the bottom of the list, so you can go with MSNBC for their liberal slant, FOX News for the conservative side, as well as British and Canadian sources, along with some crackpot sites I tossed in.
The widget stores your choice in a cookie, so you never have to see anything but your own slant ever again!
It is a simple matter to add another server (so long as they have a readily accessible RSS feed, most news sites do,) so if you want something added, just PM WRabbit or myself.
