Some of the themes Mrs G has done were quite good. The previous blue one, the blue/aqua alternating, and the original white background with the blue or purple highlights was my favorite.
All in all a darker background with white fonts is good but the "horn" theme was unreadable for me. The B&W theme was very stark and unusable (for me.)

I haven't found the dark blue one yet. What's it called?
Also, I'm trying to get my PW sent to me or reset so I can login under FireFox. Can't figure out how to make that happen. I ALWAYS write such things down but seem to have misplaced H's PW. Silly me. Sigh.

@airen, The dark blue is in the actual Admin control panel, if I used the one they have, it would be REALLY Dark, so I have other controls I can use to slide a scale and change a shade of color and mix colors.
The Dark was one of my Favorite, but it gave people headaches and I tried to lighten the colors,,,, but people weren't happy with that.
Actually if you go to that colored Ball next to The Font Size Panel, each Person Can Change The Color of their Letters.
Changing the letters is somewhat important to me. Changing the background is REALLY important to my eye strain. At the moment, it's a darkish slate blue. And that's fine.
I think I got it by checking the
"TEST THEME" option in the settings area. I hope so. That would mean I can keep it, right?
Can you trigger a resend of my PW or a resetting so I can write it down. I've misplaced it. Rarely happens but I guess it does.
OK, Maybe this'll help you,,,, See the B icon for Bold? good, now just to the left of it is a colored ball, click it. Good, Now change the color of your Cursor,,, By dragging that line where you want it and see that squire box in the large box,,,, click and drag it around makes your color change too. Remember to Click OK and your Cursor to change your color. I hope this helps.

ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT in this posting window or where? How do I find the "B" icon for bold? I only see it in this posting window.
I understand how to color the fonts in the posts I write.
I'd like to have the font color for ALL the text I see . . . on this nice dark slate blue background . . . to be a cream color or some such . . . Is there a way to do that?
Good evening Fellows. After reading over the entirety of the the thread so far I do have a few thoughts.
The first is I love the added option to choose the Theme that best suits own own particular needs. Thank you Charles and Mrs. G for the incredibly timely solution.
The second would be Titles, Badges, rewards and positive reinforcement. I understand your points AiRen, when it comes to the human desire or need to categorize. It may be the odd workings of my slightly rearranged brain, but I'm not sure I feel quite right about the idea of essentially behavior modification by way of reward.
Cuervo mentioned earlier the idea of gamification. Perhaps a combination of fun and reward might suit. This could be in the form of little gifts that can be freely given by fellow Hernandos. Little emoticons and items like cookies or small gifs that represent applause as in actual hands clapping or waving hello. These little gifts and markers of milestones could be displayed or not depending on the desires of the member.
The third subject would be the single thumbs up above the posts. I like it. There is something simple and nice about seeing the names there. It has a more personal feel to it rather than an anonymous system of acknowledgment IMO.
Oh, and I kind of like the Mexican Military monikers, it's got a literary feel about it to me.
