Just out of curiosity...what is your phobia?

Ironically, water happens to be one of the things that I prefer the most, in this life.

But I understand what you mean. My ex-wife was terrified of water. Even a little splash of water touching her face would send her into a hyperventilating state.

Not fun..

Insects are the thing for me. Phobias aren't supposed to be entirely logical, and that's my piece of illogic. I don't mind either way about snakes and nothing furry scares me unless it's capable of beating me and then eating me. (Man invented fire sticks for that problem..heh)

* Oh Dental tools make the list too. I could take almost any torture, I think...but break out a dental drill? Well...what do you wanna know??

Oh, I hated Louisiana on the Gulf Coast at certain times of the year. Its the only place in the nation where I could drive into literal clouds of nats or flies or whatever they were, and have the front on an 18 wheeler so covered, it not only needed a wash but I needed to find a place to clean the glass ASAP. Windshield Washer fluid just made a big gooey mess. It didn't clean anything. I had to learn not to touch it, despite it being the natural thing, because looking through the bug splatter at least gave view of the road. One swipe of wipers through that goo..and there wasn't seeing anything anymore.

I got a couple bug clouds in Mississippi over the years too, but I-10 across Louisiana was the place I found it. Yikes!

For me,, mrs. g. it's dogs, I'm scared to death of the Taco Bell dog.
For mr. g. it's water he can't see the bottom of or touch the bottom of, yes  he can swim,,, but he hates water that's to deep and dark, he won't go near it.

People.

Spills. My phobia doesn't have a name. But I hate it when anything spills.

I'll actually leave the room if my wife spills some coffee while pouring a cup.
