McKenzie. She thinks beds were invented for her own enjoyment and comfort.
Murphy. This little guys is hilarious. He will respond with the same intonation you speak with.
What? = Meow !
Whaaaaaaaat? = Meeeeeeeeow !
WHAT ?? = MEOW !!
I kid you not !
And last but not the least. The Pomeranian Devil himself, Frisky.
He just loves to play with McKenzie & Murphy. Murphy doesn't consider having his ears chewed off as playing. McKenzie hates playing, she likes sleeping.
The ruckus these three can make when they start chasing each other is unreal but hey...gotta love them !!!
Well, I just had an odd encounter with a little old lady
We ran up to the service station to fill up our truck since we have to leave early in the morning to go pick up our other trailer [150 miles one way]
Inside the station is a Krystals...not the best burgers, more like a 'snack'
My husband wanted a couple to munch on, since our dinner from earlier was gone, so I go in and order a couple
After I place my order, this lady orders 4 with cheese, no onions...no big deal I thought Evidently I was wrong
Krystals always cooks onions on the burgers but they scrape them off upon request Well that wasn't good enough for this lady She demanded to know why if you order it without onions WTH do you have to cook with them on there to begin with
Come to find out, per the manager who was super nice & very patient, that they can actually get fired if they don't follow the procedures regarding cooking [huh-learn something new everyday]
***Note to Charles, please give us fair warning in regards of being fired.LOL***
Anyhow, after showing her azz over those stupid hamburgers, come to find out they are for her 2 yorkies
Something flew all over me after listening to her badger the poor guy and I said....
ME: "That's for your dogs?"
LADY:"Oh yes, they can't have onions"--all sweet like
ME:"UM, actually they aren't supposed to have ANY People. Food."
LADY: "What do you mean by that?" --stunned at my response
ME: "They are not meant to eat people food. I worked for a veterinarian for 4 years, and people food is not good for them"
LADY: "Well, what are they supposed to eat then?" --kinda snarky like
ME: "Doooooog. Foooooood."--snarky back atcha
LADY: "Hump....well what's in doooog. foood?"--didn't have the same effect from her
ME:"Ingredients that's easier for them to digest"
Needless to say she stormed off but the bright side was she left the manager alone after that!!
The manager looked at me and said thanks Hey, it was the least I could do. LOL

Well I did it...went fish shopping and bought two beautiful yellow and orange fancy guppies and one with a little white, silver, light and dark blue in it AND...an adorable dwarf African aquatic frog!!!!! The frog is just a tiny little thing. They will only get to be like 3 inches. So happy! :)

Dear Night Star, thanks.
There is beauty in this world, I'm glad you found some. It just struck me that humans may be the only things on the planet to understand and appreciate beauty in it's many forms. I'm very grateful for that.
Frogs? My area has an annual Tree Frog Festival. I don't know how common tree frogs are, but they are worth listening to.

Oh Charles tree frogs are adorable. I used to own one some years back. My aquatic frog is so tiny. So cute!!!! :) There is indeed beauty in this world. I like to bring the beauty into my home . I have my fish and frog and turtles and my rat. I have lots of greenery with all my plants... :)
I am waiting for the sequel,,,,where you discover that aquatic frogs have a voracious appetite, and there are no fish left swimming in your aquarium..... :'(

Oh, Nugget, that's so sad. I guess that says something about nature. Sure, nature works, the planet is still spinning around and life is still running around doing whatever it does. But on dark days it seems that whatever nature doesn't kill off, Man takes a whack at.
For those who accept the idea of original sin there's an explanation, no matter how little comfort it brings, for the destruction wrought by Man and nature. The idea that a corrupting, evil force has been let loose makes some sense, but we're brought back to the question "Why is there death, pain, and suffering?"
Gee, all that from the impending death of a few fish? I'm in a mood today, aren't I?
I did have a Cat once and it was the same color as this kitten, but I don't remember it ever being this small. We found it here when it's mother left it behind when she moved her litter out of our tool shed. So my daughter and I bottle fed it and kept it alive for 8 years and he was hit by a car coming home from his girlfriends.
