The thread out there on entirely different aspects of hair is what made this come to mind to ask, and perhaps get an answer from someone else who has experienced it or known someone else who has?
Starting last year, I occasionally felt tingles in specific spots over my body, and once starting, it would sometimes last for hours. Just a couple 'tingles' now and then, but hours of that.
It feels exactly like a small insect crawling over the skin (as well it should, now that I learned something critical).
Now, in mentioning this to people before, the big 'D' was blamed (diabetes, and the fact I've been diagnosed with it). An early sign of nerve damage, is actually what I've been told. My wife apparently went through a similar thing in her downward trip from blood sugar. So, I accepted that and didn't think much more of it, aside from being driven crazy at times, when that starts up. (usually late at night when I'm tired...but not always). I've also honestly wondered if it is very small bugs like gnats at times. Missouri is a wonderland for the insect world.
Then, a couple days ago in math class? I got the same feeling on my forearm. I froze...because bugs in that setting should have been impossible, while those tingles have rarely ever happened at school.
So, without moving, I cast my eyes down to my arm and sure as I'm typing this, one hair was moving over several others, like a draft catching just that one hair. I'd never have believed that could be the cause, if I had't physically seen this in a brightly lit room. There is no draft where I sit there, BTW, and the windows aren't the opening kind.
Anyone experience this before or have any ideas why that happens? I can't seem to find much (and haven't looked that hard yet) on the question, and just thought someone may have better perspective?

Oh, and this may help to know. Previous periods experiencing this have come with covered and uncovered skin on my legs and arms. That hasn't made any difference.
