Thanks for all the feedback, and particularly Dirk's bit to confirm hair is rooted with nerve and muscle to make what I saw and experience possible by involuntary movement. Hmmm.... How annoying to imagine that being the cause.
Ahh well.. It isn't a major thing in life. Just a background annoyance at times, and nothing I can't live with.
Maybe your nerves have gone ultra sensitive. A single twitching nerve could account for the single hair movement. I have several friends with diabetes and your nerves can do some really strange things, and each case is unique.

I don't think this necessarily has anything to do with diabetes. It could be an electrical signal stimulating a muscle in the hair. When you go outside in a thunderstorm sometimes your hair stands up and moves around giving you a tingly feeling. This type of energy can come from anywhere, even shifting on a seat or rubbing. A baloon can make your hair stand up, it is because energy is flowing through the tiny muscles of the follicle or is related to the charge.
Type two Diabetes is caused by the insulin/glucose not binding to cells properly. There can be many different reasons for this, most being caused by something binding to the site. It could be anything from a cyanate to an over abundance of glutamates. It could be from an imbalance of electrolytes or improper chemistry of varying sorts. I still need to research this more to try to find a way of curing the problem, I am thinking that the Pharma companies know what is causing this but they can;t sell meds to treat it if they told us what was really causing it.
Taurine chemistry can treat diabetis, it is used in Europe. It is related to NAC but different. It is similar to glyberide. They are both derivitives of sulfonamides. Clearing the receptors is what needs to be done. Now, if it is a cyanate, an onion contains theosulfate which can possibly remove it. So can grapefruit as it contains thiosulfate. When it connects to the cyanate, it forms isothiocyanate and this can be removed from the body by the kidneys. Making sure the kidneys function properly and that the sodium, potassium, and chloride are shuttling the stuff out to the kidneys where it can be removed is critical. Now, stimulating the body to remove the sodium and chloride bound to the garbage from the cells is important, glucose actually makes you reuptake salt. Not enough glucose and you pee out the salt, too much and you can get rid of the garbage from the cells. This also requires proper pituitary hormones. If you are deficient on salt, you make too much insulin and too much insulin can cause problems too. It is hard on the organs in high amount. Not enough insulin, sometimes because of a lack of zinc in the body, and you can be out of energy all the time. Now not uptaking zinc can have various reasons. Zinc runs our immune systems, is necessary for hormone development, and is also used to process sugars. If one is up, the zinc becomes deficient in the other areas that need zinc. So if you eat a lot of sugar, you may find yourself getting pimples or cold sores more or you can't fight infections properly. Zinc is competitive with copper too, so if you get too much copper you get less zinc. Remeber, chocolate is high in copper and also sugar. pimple city. The balance of these minerals is important, to utilize tyramines to make energy, you need enzymes to do this which need copper too. So our bodies sometimes crave companion chemistry to balance things that are important at the time. A diverse diet in moderation is best, cycling intake of different chemistries.
Now, I haven't said much about the hairs wiggling, I would say to make sure your getting electrolytes for that. If it was morgellins you would probably see a miscolored hair with different texture. Too much sugar can cause weird things to happen, too little salt is not good either, it is a necessary electrolyte. You need chloride in the diet and also potassium and a lot of microminerals. A few cups of coffee will stimulate the kidneys.
I still have studying to do on diabetes, I have only read about three hundred articles about this subject. There are other options to treat this, I am trying to find out what they are. I have the oposite problem, I pee out my sugar when it gets up and make too much insulin. I also have a rough transition between sugar metabolism and burning ketones. I have been reading on those problems.
