And such a coincidence...5 stores at the same time.
Something isn't right.
It could be something as simple as not enough business so rather than just admit, close down. But still strange.

That's my problem here....5 stores are being affected
With the lame excuse of 'plumbing' problems...(stifles laugh) Guess the sh#t was floating uphill or something. lol
Wonder if it could have something to do with inventory (theft) rather than plumbing? Revamping those particular stores maybe?
Very strange indeed....maybe in time the truth will come out As long as it doesn't concern FEMA camps
And 6 Months? What are they doing that it takes 6 Months on each store?
Another poster put it well, the entire store could be completely rigged in weeks with the right sized crews. And those crews would be a hell of a lot cheaper than closing the entire store for another 5 and a half Months.
April 14, 2015 Are The Wal-Mart Closings In Jade Helm 15 States A Sign We've Sold Them The Rope They'll Use To Hang Us With By Shopping At Wal-Mart All These Years?

With news of numerous Wal-Mart supercenters now being 'temporarily closed' (6+ months each which brings us to October 2015 or later) in at least 4 different states now tied to the Jade Helm 15 'exercises' due to what we're being told are 'plumbing problems', will these massive stores soon be used as 'food distribution centers' and to house the headquarters of invading troops from China, here to disarm Americans one by one as promised by Michelle Obama to the Chinese prior to Obama leaving the White House?
Astute story commenters were quick to point out that any plumbing problem can be fixed in much less time than 6 months, even in such large supercenters, and to have several of these 6-month closings all at once in states tied to Jade Helm 15 and martial law exercises (Florida, Texas, California and Oklahoma) reeks of something much deeper than 'plumbing issues'.
One reader tells us that one of these Wal-Mart stores had just recently been remodeled and didn't have any plumbing problems while the note below is from a source who recently called her local Wal-Mart and discovered they may NEVER reopen!
A search on google will pull up more than most can read. Of course there are so many alternative news sources but how else do we get to some semblance of truth these days?
Yeah, I would call BS on the plumbing problems. Walmart may have a general contractor overseeing all their stores, but the sub-contractors would always be local.

Something to definitely keep an eye on.
And now they need a general contractor on all 5 sites to hire all the locals...
And all 5 sites are slated for 6 Months of work.
For a grand total of 2.5 years of downtime combined.
A short blurb on the news 3/4 days ago said Walmart was asking their suppliers to spend less on advertising so they could offer Walmart a lower price for products, as their profit margin has been steadily dropping.
Big buildings with small entrances easily guarded, plenty of parking for "contractors" etc.
Watch for some major "Event" any time soon.
:o
Yup'er and it be even better if there was a train track running to there location for the Cattle Cars, What else would you expect from this Administration? Their No Fifferent than the Damn Nazi's

I like the FEMA camp idea best, though.
Yup...FEMA Camps.
Stickin' to it. :)
It has a nice ring doesn't it? Say it with me... fc/rosefema... kinda soft & fuzzy like.
I just can't imagine the personnel that would imprison hundreds/thousands of people.
Logistically, you'd need food, clothing, sanitation and the staff to guard those people around the clock.
I don't know what is going on, but I will humbly cast my doubts on FEMA camps.
I get what you're saying but think about how they supply all the Military throughout the World. They do it very well.
And when it comes to 100's of 1000's of people being controlled...all you need to think about is the weapons that can be put into play very quickly on US soil. If you have the bigger guns in skilled hands, it wouldn't take long to round up and imprison a few 100,000 if it was the goal.
All those 1700 armored MRAP vehicles deployed to small backwater towns all over the US in the last few years, police holding military weapons, ex military on police forces, and countless millions of shells in the hands of everyone from the DHS and the TOS to the BLM and the US Postal Service to mention but a few. Nice little caches to use by those that know where it all is.
But don't get me wrong, I hope you're closer to the truth than what I believe because your way has less stuff in the streets. :)

Walmart is slashing back prices and hording major profits they have facilities built that they don't even use lol screwed all kinds of people in the building of them and non operation lol They are an American Company with "something something values"
The mean, nasty-ass honey badger in a bar near you!
It is possible that there is a kernel of truth in all this, somewhere. By that I mean, wal-marts aren't just 'close' to being the same. They ARE the same. there are almost 'classes' of Walmart, like designs of Navy ships for being just a bit different in floor plans or physical site layout to type of store, but they cookie cut it by teams out of Bentonville making them pop up like bird turds on a clean windshield. They just kind of....appear.
After all, Walmart isn't just a chain of stores, they are a corporate movement by sheer economy of scale.
I'm thinking its related to Uncle or someone similar needing the preexisting building space, like right now, in odd spots...actually. Or.... The common planning, construction and design has a common flaw that someone just found and it's a bad bad one. Liability maybe? Some IDIOT or supplier common to all those stores use asbestos in a dark corner to get rid of it? I dunno..but Walmart is far too big for this many to matter or hurt, yet so abruptly is just weird for any business?
