i am giving this some serious thought. it would be amazing...it would kind of be our honeymoon even though we have been married 3 years.
if youre not a guitar player youre not going to know these people but this year the lineup is joe satriani, mike keneally, guthrie govan, and tosin abasi.
satriani is the one i am least interested in.
govan/keneally/abasi are all progressive that focus on extended improv.
frank zappa is my favorite musician on the planet and mike keneally played with him.
zappa is an 'idol' of guthrie.
i wouldnt even know how to behave. guthrie is the best guitar player in the world, imo.
this would be a chance to meet and talk with them on a one on one basis on and off for 4 days.
plus the place that s hosting sits on 25 acres with an organic farm. pool. spa.
it would be cool for my wife and i.
the room would cost 4 grand. then plane tickets to cali.
4 days of guitar clinics and 4 improv concerts each night.
