This is a story of police abuse, murder and coverup to put police corruption on high display for all to see. Not only run of the mill corruption, but again, in this case? Unpremeditated murder comes to mind. In fact, if I walked up and shot someone in the back without warning, and they hadn't literally had someone else at gunpoint and ready to shoot? I'd guess my prize would be 15-25 years in state prison..if I were lucky. Cops? Well, heck.. They get a free pass. Until now, anyway.
Aren't those cameras a pain in the butt? You just can't execute people like you used to. People always see it. In this case, they recorded it too. Oops.

There is rude...there is improper and then there is outright criminal. This is criminal and to an extreme, in my view.
Once upon a time, in a nation we can hardly recall anymore...cops didn't get to just murder someone in plain view because they 'kinda thought maybe' about something....and cops were expected to STOP shooting when a threat ended. Like, for instance, when the person you're killing declares he is actually holding a toy. Then again, these cops are such pampered little babies these days...with body armor to make a stormtrooper green with envy and weapons to fight a small war? I'll bet they aren't given the "harmful" experience of firing a few rounds 100% unprotected for hearing ...to know HOW IMPORTANT initial judgement is. Why? They didn't hear a damn thing he said, I'll just about promise that. After the first couple shots? I doubt the cops heard anything not being yelled for at least 10 or 15 minutes.
It sounds like he died for bad judgement. Criminally bad judgement, and it damn sure would be called that if any one of US did the same, with the very SAME "reasoning" to defend it, IMO.
The family of John Crawford, the Ohio man fatally shot by police at Walmart after they mistook him for being armed, may finally have the proof they need to prove injustice after viewing a surveillance video from the store.
LeeCee Johnson, the mother of Crawford's children who was on the phone with him when the shooting occurred, told the Dayton Daily News that he tried to tell the cops the gun was not real while they were shooting.
