Hello everybody! Sorry I haven't been around for a while! I still pop in every week to see what's going on but I don't always log in. I hope everyone is doing well!
The big day approaches! Kdog and I will be married on Feb. 17th! It has been a long and difficult road and yet here we are! Through all of life's trials and tribulations we have made it!
The reason for this post? For those of you who are still single and losing hope I want you to know that there IS hope! Kdog and I met on a "site that shall not be named" nearly 5 years ago. We traveled the road from passing acquaintances to friends to really, really good friends to falling in love- and all because we shared an interest in what the mainstream considers "conspiracy theories". Our bond began from common likes and interests and we have built a solid foundation from that! Friendship, commonalities and mutual respect are the building blocks of a true relationship, bolstered by honesty and trust. We are very fortunate to have found each other! Our love has not wavered and our joy and peace is immense!
So for those of you still seeking do not give up hope! Somewhere out there is the perfect one for you, just do not cut yourself short and settle for less than you deserve: someone who shares your interests and values, someone who is honest and earns your trust, someone whose love is true and not a passing attraction. The right one is worth waiting for and somewhere out there they are looking for you as well!

Congratulations to the both of you! This is truly an inspiring story! I wish you two all the best for the rest your lives!
And if I may add to your list of "building blocks", Communication is also crucial in a relationship!
"A perfect Marriage is simply 2 imperfect individuals who refuse to give up on one another!" I had this carved on a plaque for our 10 year anniversary last Summer!
You don't have a soul. You are a soul, you have a body!
I just want to give hope to those who seem to have lost it. So many these days have either resorted to dating sites, bars or just completely given up hope of finding a partner when the path (in my opinion at least) to true love can be found better in the direction in which our own interests and hobbies take us- whatever those may be! Opposites may attract but compatability is a stronger glue!
Also a very, very belated congrats on 10 years amigo!

littled16, congrats!! People tend to look down on folks who meet online in any website setting (forum, dating site, game or hobby guild/club, etc) but it's not any less valid a place to meet people. I'm happy for you and Kdog, you two really do appear to be each other's rock

littled16, Congrats to you and Kdog! I hope that it is perfect for you guys. You both have gone through enough that you deserve to be happy and have a wonderful future together.
One of the more beautiful and talented people has just been appropriated and made exclusive. Well, I suppose Kdog is good enough for you to bear up with, but keep him on a tight leash and train him well. You deserve the best and you may just have found it.
My best wishes and prayers go with you. A good marriage is one of the very best things in the world and I'm sure you'll have one.
littled16, I hope that everything was beautiful for you and Kdog today and that you have a wonderful honeymoon weekend! Congrats on your big day and I wish so much happiness for both of you as you go forward into the future together.
Wow! I had met you on the other site and then you had been "disappeared". I couldn't believe it when I stumbled a crossed you two over here, and heard what happened. I am SO happy for you both, and wish you happiness and love, infinity!
