Moon is older than we thought, new research suggests

It turns out the moon is older than many scientists suspected: a ripe 4.51 billion years old.
That's the newest estimate, thanks to rocks and soil collected by the Apollo 14 moonwalkers in 1971.
The way I see it is that, as a culture, we humans only think we know stuff...yeah of course we know A LOT of things... to the best of our knowledge! And this works very well for us!
Heck we even put men on the moon!!
But make 1 new major scientific discovery/breakthrough that proves any theory wrong and you gotta start over in some fields!
We keep discovering new things, and its really neat to read about them so dont get me wrong here!
For instance, so many years ago the Earth was flat...they were certain of it......this is my point....a frog in a well!
This sample was probably surface dirt...the newest stuff! ! Well the article does say that this was taken from a moonwalk! I dont think they dug holes while up there!
So our Moon may even be way older than that!
Okay thats enough my head is spinning!
