I saw this trending on FB and was disgusted. Subway employee accused of slipping meth into police officer’s drink
Subway said that they are working with the police to investigate.

I keep seeing things like this pop up on my news feeds and it makes me really upset. This is something that the media seems to be blowing so out of proportion that uniformed officers can't even get lunch without worrying about being poisoned. I get that there is anger at unjustified police brutality and shootings, but on the other hand, how many of these shootings have been blown up into non-stop coverage only to find out upon investigating further that it actually was a justified shooting? Yet that further investigation that shows why it was justified is never gotten into by the media that blew the whole thing up in the first place. Because of that irresponsibility we are seeing things like this, or Dallas, and it makes me incredibly angry.
I am friends with a lot of police officers. My best friend works at a nearby police station and I've gotten to be friends with a number of the officers that she works with. They are really good people and things like this cause me so much worry for them.

Authorities said the sergeant stopped by the Subway restaurant on Highway 193 for lunch Monday.
When he took a sip of his drink he tasted chemicals and said he knew something was wrong.
Authorities said the man's drink tested positive for marijuana, THC and methamphetamine.
