I like following the Nautilus research vessel as it travles the worlds' oceans and explores the deep and briny sea. This newly discovered creature is so other-worldly looking I just had to share.

Wow! That is neat. It is so pretty. I wonder if there will be any further mention of what it is if they figure it out. I heard them mention that it looks a bit like an egg sack and on the site that they think it could be a kind of pleurobranch, but that there are no known purple varieties of those. How cool would it be to discover that it is something previously undiscovered and unknown!
