I have been betting family and friends that hillary will be our next POTUS for over two years now, and all have gladly bet me, thinking I must be insane.
obama is reported to have spent 35 to 45 minutes on the phone today talking to Bernie Sanders. Want to bet what kind of game changer that call is going to be?
Trump hammered hillary over emails until it became a non-issue, and some fence stitters actuallu bgan to feel sorry for her being 'bullied'.
Trump has said some outrageous things- like stop the Muslim immigration plans until refugees can be fully vetted. ;build a wall on our southern border, and make Mexico pay for it;stop the bail-outs,etc. Things that insurred immigrants would vote for hillary-a much needed minority vote if you're going to win the election.
Trump is making so many people angry with his retoric that I wouldn't be surprised if we have the greatest voter turnout in the history of America.
He won the Republican nomination by saying things a huge number of Americans have been saying or thinking for a long time. It made him very popular with the common folk who are tired of being bled dry by ever-rising government give-away programs.
Now, Trump is just saying really stupid things. Things that are turning his supporters away. We're being bombarded with speeches and editorials that no vote is a vote for Trump....it's our civic duty to vote for hillary and save the country from this 'idiot', even if she IS considered the lesser of two evils.
There are still some die-hard Trump supporters left, but I have little doubt he has plans to alienate them before November. If you remember, he spent his life-until 6 short years ago- as a staunch Democrat. I propose he is still a Democrat, and is doing his best to insure hillary becomes POTUS. There is NO WAY this man is too stupid to realize what he is doing, and there is no such thing as a leopard spot-changing store.
When it comes down to voting day, it really won't matter how you vote; the electoral college will vote for who they darn well please.
Do you still think Trump has a chance? If you do, I'd love to hear why.
