After further checking it was a training exercise.. I bought into the whole set up, hook line and sinker because people who grow up in the country have been throwing fishing nets since they were little kids. Anyway still a neat take down IMO

Personal Disclosure: Id say 1 net is not going to effectively stop a determined attacker BUT I am fully confident that multiple nets [2 or more] fired would be an effective non lethal takedown option and being fired from a drone would give the cops the ability to stay at a long distance away from the knife wielding suspect.

The difference in the states is after they netted him, then they would shoot him 31 times. Claim he was on crack, and running from house to house trying to get in after a long car chase. Video from a bystander reveals he was just walking down the street. Detectives continue the search for the video taker, who is now on the run. :j/k:
