Chinese military space station in remote Argentina

Remember if you want an independent satellite system to process financial transactions you will need ground based antenna's in the southern hemisphere. The issue here is and as you can see from the image I have added, in a geosynchronous orbit the equator gets in the way to communicate directly with any ground based system in the northern hemisphere. Geosynchronous being a stationary satellite located above an area moving with the earths rotation to maintain its position. Add to this the military applications possible of a base in the Southern Hemisphere. (Tracking Capabilities)
Soooo even though it won't be a military facility they will be there to protect it? Look away nothing to see here. BTW A good deal of China's country is located in the Northern Hemisphere, anyone in the states having a problem seeing the moon? China's claim is this will be a facility to monitor the moon, so I ask myself if there is antennas what is there to monitor? The moon is supposed to be a big dead rock. Now if you are a 10 gallon tin hat you might wonder what the Chinese know after landing on the moon with their own rover. Did they see something they want to keep tabs on? Or does your 1 gallon Tin Hat tell you this is Southern Hemisphere based satellite receiving station, protected by there military? Time will tell but if I was a betting man I would say this is going to be part of their CIPS system they are creating for financial clearing. BTW the second image is a real bill board located in Canada, Of note Canada has allowed China to open their own bank.

So to finish this off one has to ask themselves why did our president really make his recent trip to Argentina? Does your vibrating Tin Hat tell you it was to dance and watch a ball game...

"This agreement will allow China to count ... with a ground station in the Southern Hemisphere to support the program for moon exploration and other space activities," an Argentine embassy in Beijing said in an e-mail to the Global Times back in 2012. "On the other hand, Argentina will share the use of the facilities for the benefit of its own space program.”

"The intended use of the giant antennae at the station is supposed to monitor the moon – as China has ambitions of sending people to the earth’s only satellite – but some speculate that it could serve a dual purpose of watching celestial bodies and also intercepting signals from other nation’s satellites.
