Interesting? That's what you've got? I was hoping for a little bit more. Did you like it, dislike it? Did it help persuade you he is right for the job, wrong for the job?

I hate listening to political speeches but I figured it would be good for me to listen to the 45+ minutes to see what he had to say. It's the first speech from any politician this year to which I've given even five minutes of attention.

I wrote down nearly everything he said. I'm going to take a big risk here. I'm going to try to condense it, and put his various statements on the same subject together. I'm going to store my original notes in case you want to see them, but here is my edited version. I should say that I'm attempting to be neutral and not adding any of my comments or thoughts.

I am far more popular than all the other candidates in polling and in rallies, and I have been since I started my campaign. The press won't show the crowds unless there are protesters, so sometimes we stage the protesters ourselves. I won Iowa, if you add in the Carson votes. My supporters are completely committed to me. Other candidates' aren't.

Many things are wrong in the country, to include: the Iran deal, Sgt. Bergdahl, Obamacare, the budget deal, Common Core, military procurement, the assault on Christianity (including people not saying "Merry Christmas"), poor student achievement compared to the rest of the world, illegal immigration, attacks on the Second Amendment, drug trafficking, the weakness in Medicare, the weakness in Social Security, ISIS, and the cost of health care. I'm going to fix them all. We're going to take care of every facet of our country. We're going to win every time we do something. We're going to beat ISIS. We're going to have so many great things.

No other candidates was talking about building walls, and the costs and dangers of illegal immigration until I brought it up when I started the campaign.

The problem, in general, is that the vast majority of politicians are controlled by special interests and lobbyists. But when I'm President, everything you don't like, everything bad, caused by lobbyists and special interests, will be fixed, you'll all be very happy and it won't take a long time.

The solution, in general, is that I will fix things by getting the world's richest, smartest negotiators to represent us instead of politicians. They will negotiate within the country and with other countries. That way we will improve everything, including roads, services, schools, hospitals, and airports, getting better results while spending less.

Some specifics. We will build a huge wall with Mexico, that will keep out the illegal drugs. The reason one hasn't been built is because of environmental impact concerns. China built islands without caring about environmental statements. Mexico will pay for it. They said they wouldn't, but with that attitude, we'll just make it bigger, then they'll pay for it.

189,000 criminal aliens. We're going to ship those back to the countries they came from and let that country deal with them and they will never, ever, come back.

More specifics. The government will negotiate drug purchases to get lower prices. That will save the US $300 billion per year. [Charles' note: Americans spend about $300 billion annually for all pharmaceuticals. We can't save $300 billion unless they're all free.] We don't negotiate prices because drug companies control the politicians.

Obamacare will be replaced. It will be a private program, there won't be lines, premiums and deductibles will be less, by a lot. The small group of people at the bottom will be taken care of so that they aren't dying in the streets or on the sidewalks. Hospitals that aren't doing any business will be reopened.

Back to generalities.

We spend more per pupil than any other nation but our student achievement is #30 in the world. That won't continue. [Charles' note: The spending ranking includes post high school expenses, college and vo-tech. The achievement number looks only at K-12 and is questionable as different tests at different grades give different results. For example: "U.S. fourth-graders are 11th in the world in math in the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study, a separate measure of nations against each other. U.S. eighth-graders ranked ninth in math, according to those 2011 results." But a different test show US 15 year-old students at #31 in math and #23 in science.]

We've been accused of being angry people. We're not angry people, we don't want to be angry, but I said "Right now, I will agree, me, personally, and a lot of the people that are with me, we are angry . . . ." But when I'm President, everything you don't like, everything bad, caused by lobbyists and special interests, will be fixed, you'll all be very happy and it won't take a long time.

We're going to fix the budget by buying the right armaments. Not the things the generals don't want but the things they do want, and we're going to save a lot of money. [Charles' Note: in Fiscal Year 2013, military personnel took $154 billion. Procurement (buying armaments) took $98 billion. The rest of the military budget was $358 billion. The deficit was $680 billion. Eliminating all weapons purchases would reduce the deficit by a little less than 15%.]

Fan shouts from the floor. Trump says that's terrible, you can't say things like that, say it again. still unintelligible. Trump says you can't say things like that, that's terrible. He then uses the mike to tell the audience she said Bush is a p***y. Biggest applause of the night.

I don't know what to expect from a rally speech. I understand that it's not supposed to be a series of detailed proposals. After listening to it, however, I must admit that Mr. Trump has fallen in my estimation. If I had to choose one person to control the country, deal with other nations, and try to restore some sense of Americanism and unity, I think I'd pick Carson followed by Cruz, Rubio, and finally Trump. But it's still very early.

Trump can't possibly deliver what he's promising. Some of his suggestions can't be accomplished at the federal level. His proposals for dealing with other countries will fail or provoke painful responses from the world. He vastly misjudges the amount and type of spending the US does. He forgets that he'll have to work with Congress on some of his proposals. In short, if he is elected we will hear, sooner or later, "I tried, but I just couldn't budge the lobbyists, and the Courts wouldn't work with me, and the UN fought me every step of the way, and the International Bankers took all our money, etc., etc., etc.

I'm sorry, Mr. Trump. I wish I hadn't heard your speech.

Charles I would not argue with anything you said.. I am very far removed from American Politics but as someone who really does care about the people and the state of the nation I don't care (small degrees) who wins as long as it ain't Clinton. If the people want to be robbed and taxed blind by the government then vote for Uncle Sanders... The Republicans are just bought and paid for mouth pieces of the RNO/TPTB IMO.... the only thing I like about Trump is he is self financed and with an ego as big as his I have little doubt he would try to accomplish much of what he says he wants to do..

As far as getting tough negotiators to work trade deals and making the field a more level situation for everyone I think he would try.. Try and do are two different things..If he were truly successful I doubt he would live a full term in office.... The other side of the whole Trump thing is he is hated by mainstream .... Which makes me like him even though most New Yorkers get on my nerves after a while.. Long time until election.. There has already been election fraud on both sides of the fence ... so the election may already be decided and we just don't know it yet.

Yep but I have read from more than one source Clinton already has enough delegates to win the nomination... If those rumors are true the whole thing is but a sham..
