I've looked at CNN which is reporting 24% of the votes in right now. On the Republican side, in order, it's Cruz (30%), Trump (27%), Rubio (19%), Carson (10%). The next closest candidate, Ron Paul, is at 4%. Between the four of them they have 86% of the Republican vote. Does that mean that everyone except for those four should drop out?
I'm surprised Trump isn't winning. If this continues will we see "Trump is a Loser" signs popping up? How will his ego deal with it? For that matter, how will his ego cope if he doesn't finish at least 5% ahead of Cruz? Does Trump lose the aura of invincibility he has at least claimed from the very start?
Speaking of auras of invincibility, Clinton is at 51%, Sanders is at 48%. Is this the end for Hillary? Is she in the same position as Trump, having to win convincingly in order to keep down the rest of the field (such as it is)? If Sanders wins this I suspect it will be over, at least in the eyes of the citizens.
That brings up another question. Are people voting against Hillary because of her scandal problems, or are they voting for Sanders because the body of the Democrat party has shifted to Socialism?

Now that 37% of the vote is in, Cruz is down to 29%, Trump dropped to 26%, Rubio is up to 20% and Carson is still at 10%. CNN also has a political betting market running on the site with the results. They're saying the Republicans have a 39% chance to win the Presidency. That strikes me as a little low, but maybe I'm just optimistic. I wouldn't be happy unless the Republicans had a 90% chance of winning. Considering who the Democrats are running, how can the Republicans lose? I just don't understand, are we that locked into parties and personalities that voters don't think about issues or the country? As Trump said, he could stand in the middle of New York and shoot people and he wouldn't lose any votes.
Interesting, CNN shows the number of votes and the percentage for each of the Republican candidates, but only the percentage for the Democrats. With 47% of the votes in Cruz, for example, has nearly 23,000 votes. I'll bet a nickel that CNN isn't reporting Democrat numbers because each candidate is only getting a small handful compared to the Republicans. Could be wrong of course, maybe they've just accidentally forgotten to put the numbers up for the Democrats.
