Obama Is Trying To Keep Program To Arm Drug Cartels Secret

This is an important decision, because for years now Obama was hiding behind executive privilege to protect his appointed crony Eric Holder and himself. The problem with executive privilege is the president has to know or be involved in the program in order for it to work. THe mistake he made was claiming he had no prior knowledge of this program. So in essence executive privilege doesn't work but he did it anyway, and now a federal judge said sorry charlie produce the papers. This is one of those cases that warms my heart that just maybe we do have a rule of law and even a president can't get away with it. The difference nowadays is there are political organizations that don't support any particular party that just want truth in politics and law.
The day this came to light I was over my mothers house in California and the news ran this just as the government wanted them to. Blaming gun stores and citizens for selling these obvious military grade firearms across the border. Obama and the administration made claims that more laws were needed and Obama wanted to eliminate assault weapons. BLA BLA BLA. My mom says can you believe it? I laughed and said mom this is a setup if these guns were really available I would have them. She was appalled A. I would say that, and B. No citizen should have them. I told her just wait it will come out sooner or later this is BS. She believes at this time everything on the news is the gospel. LAter when things came out the fix was in she now believes me when I tell her something about the government and their indiscretions. To this day she is a Obama critic and a government questioner on everything. Her perfect little life and bubble has been popped. The world no longer operates the way she thought it did. It would be comical if it wasn't so sad.
I am glad this paperwork will finally be coming out, but it will remains to be seen what happens from it. It's the end of Obama's term, Holder has quit, and the next president will give him a pass if need be for any criminal activity when he and Holder should be jailed for running guns. This same program was run under the Bush administration as well, the key difference was the GPS trackers were installed in the firearms where Obama had them taken out. Nobody ever knew where they went under Obama and one ended up killing a border patrol agent. Our POTUS has to be the worst in the history of the US Nixon was a piker compared to Obama and the hugely scandalous Clinton family. The teflon duo or maybe trio in this case.

U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled that the Department of Justice’s prior release of information related to Fast and Furious invalidated President Obama’s claim that releasing details of the program would cause harm.
“The Department itself has already publicly revealed the sum and substance of the very material it is now seeking to withhold. Since any harm that would flow from the disclosures sought here would be merely incremental, the records must be produced,”
