THIS is what has always had me a bit suspicious:
It has seemed to me since the beginning that he couldn't possibly do more to get hillary elected than what he is already doing. I knew hillary would have to face tough issues, like her reputation for corruption (Whitewater,Asia fundraising scandal,Travelgate,Humagate, etc.) her innefectiveness and dishonesty (Bengazi,Emails, etc.) plus her reputation for being a mean girl to all who have the misfortune to serve her.
Well, it seems that Trump is bringing all her negative qualities and failings out into the open in such a way that way too many folks seem to be feeling empathy for poor, poor hillary being bullied and humiliated publically. The fact that it's all true, and she has earned her reputation fair and square over many decades is being dwarfed and ignored because people are beginning to fell the need to 'defend' her from such brutality.
So, What's in it for Trump? We all know he doesn't stand a snowballs' chance in Hades of becoming president- not even if evry single American voted for him -and we all know there will be zero chance of a Republican being elected at the rate he's derailing the party. Looking for a connection, we have the following:

I was wondering when hillary announced plans to run how the heck she could get beyond her scandal-filled career and whitewash her lack of qualifications to lead America. Now I know.....
It will be interesting to see how far Trump's net worth increases after hillary waves her magic broom.
The New York billionaire has a spotty political history, at best. He was a Republican, then he was a pro-choice Democrat, and now he's a fire-breathing, anti-immigration populist conservative.
Could this latest iteration of Mr Trump's political brand be just a ruse, the elaborate cover for a liberal saboteur who has spent the past year setting explosives that threaten the unity of the party he pledged to support?

Noah Rothman of Commentary magazine spies a pattern in Mr Trump's diatribes, whose timing, he argues, "tends to often coincide with scandalous revelations that reflect poorly on Democratic politicians".

"Mr Trump has a close friendship with Bill and Hillary Clinton," he said. "They were at his last wedding. He has contributed to the Clintons' foundation. He has contributed to Mrs Clinton's Senate campaigns. All of this is very suspicious."
Of course Mr Trump has also contributed to plenty of Republicans. He likes to boast that he has "bought" politicians of all stripes. And Mr Trump's wedding was a coveted invitation for all of New York City's elite, of which the Clintons were definitely part.
