Can we get and extra day of voting once the entries deadline is passed?

The deadline is set on January 15th 2015, midnight. Once this happens, the thread will be locked but the voting will start. The vote post should be well seen above the opening post and every member will get a PM notifying that the poll is open.
The non participating staff members who volunteer will also vote in the background on a points system for each entry.
The results of both those voting systems and the winners will be announced on January 26th 2015. That is 10 days of voting but if needs be, it might get extended...even though I think that 10 days should be enough. But I am open to the possibility, if needs be.

For some reason ithought it was after the entry deadline..
In joy by the entries this Contest has had so far. Who would have known that Hernando's Hideaway had such amazing writers within its walls !!! Well, we had a good idea, to be honest, but I am sure that we are all pretty much in awe, looking at all those marvelous stories that came to live, day after day, in front of our very eyes !!
I would like to CONGRATULATE each and every one of you that have submitted an entry (or two)...

BUT...
There are still two days left before this Contest ends, as this thread will close tomorrow night at midnight...and the voting starts...

I just wanted each and every one of you to know, Yes, we have both read and followed each and every story,,,,, WOW, this was so hard! slapforehead We had four favorites,,,, but could only choose 3,,,, we agreed on each one, But you all do something with word, So Wonderful, neither of us could and would never attempt.
