The discovery of bright lights on Ceres mystified astrologers, and Ufologists had a field day comparing them to lights seen on Earth.
Then a pyramid-like structure appeared where there were no mountains. Someone had to build that, right?
Now, we see large craters in the polar regions that appear to be an opening to the inner area of this mystical orb.
Could this be a doorway to an Alien World?
Shortly after the discovery of the bright lights, another discovery was made on Ceres, a huge Pyramidal ‘structure’ was found in a vast region on Ceres where there aren’t any mountains. Now, by combining images taken between August and October this year by the Dawn spacecraft, NASA has created the first high-resolution map of the polar regions, revealing a surface pockmarked with a large number of craters, a mountain 20 km diameter and a large dark area that has caused confusion among researchers.
According to an article published on NASA’s website, “the South Pole of Ceres is almost in total darkness because “has been in the shadow since Dawn began orbiting the dwarf planet in March.” However, “two craters in the region, called Atlas and Zaddeni can be Cleary distinguished in the images.” The ‘overshadowed pole of the dwarf planet will surely cause the formulation of a number of theories trying to explain just what the dwarf planet is hiding in one of its Pole’s… Could it be an entrance to an underground Alien world?
Well, on Ceres it seems that anything is possible. Strange the exact opposite occurs on the North Pole of Ceres. This region is very well illuminated and several very important craters surround a huge mountain called Ysolo Mons. The images used to create the polar portraits published in this article (which can be found in higher resolution by clicking here) were taken between August 17 and October 23, when the Dawn spacecraft was orbiting the dwarf planet at just 1,470 km from the surface. Mapping the poles of Ceres will help NASA understand the formation of craters and serve as a comparative framework for other regions of dwarf the dwarf planet. As you can see Ceres has certainly won the title as one of the most enigmatic and mysterious objects within our solar system ( via ewao.com ).

I find Ceres more interesting every day. I'm waiting for a little alien to wave at the camera any moment now.
