I thought that might be the case. From conversations I have had with Ante Bellum, she simply did not want to participate at TOS because of a mod action which vexed her greatly, which came on the back of several other confounding interactions, which in totality pushed her away from there. I knew she would not be seen around there again, or at least, that it might be a while...

As I have indicated, we don't have that limitation. I think that's because we have a different approach to our Hernando family. It has been our experience, especially with staff, but with some members as well, that Hernandos talk to each other about absences or even problems they may be having.

I have said it a couple of hundred times, but I will repeat that Hernando's is intentionally, and wonderfully, different from the rest of the Internet.

Communication is an action that sadly lacks nowadays...

So many issues could be solved if we all took time out for each other... and had a good old chinwag over a cup of tea/coffee/beer etc etc... OR just took a couple of minutes to think about how we could communicate better...

A very good example here on HH is the calender here : hernandoshideaway.boards.net/calendar

At least some people know when certain members or staff are away or having birthdays etc... and you can communicate by adding your own entries...

Remember when we didn't have I phones, computers and all that kind of crap?... we all communicated in a much different way that worked just as well as through the internet... either by visiting someone that we love (d)/appreciate (d) or sending that long awaited hand written letter...

I hate to think what would happen one day if the worldwide net went down... TOTAL CHAOS...
