When someone asks why Edward Snowden did what he did, this is a pretty good reason why. Does anyone think there is really a whistleblower program? Or is it early warning and possible interception by government?
Is there a part of the system that actually works? Is there anyway to stop this out of control government? Is there anyone that thinks it's a good idea to spend billions on Syrian Refugees while Veterans cost are still being ignored? In todays administration a whistleblower isn't even in the same class as a high school football coach he is fired, called a liar, and ostracized by the media. What happen to all those whistleblowing Veteran Administration employes? Nothing, and nothing has changed for America's bravest.

Darrell Whitman, a former San Francisco-based investigator for the Whistleblower Protection Program administered by OSHA, claimed the agency failed to defend workers who faced retaliation for reporting illegal activity and public safety concerns."

"I had gone through every conceivable channel and what I saw was inaction," Whitman said.
In a Notice of Removal written in May, OSHA states it fired Whitman for six different reasons including "lack of candor during an investigatory meeting" and "unauthorized release of government documents."
