Brings to mind a documentary I saw a good while back. There was evidence that the US was performing all sorts of experiments on the entire population of an island somewhere off the coast of S.America for generations.

I find all of this interesting and yet don't dwell on such things too much lest I begin to imagine all of the experiments that we DON'T know about!

That's terrible! I've known about many of these for a long time, and it's just.....heartbreaking!
