Okay. No.
Just No.
This is in NO WAY part of some 'grand plan' of "TPTB" from dark and shadowy rooms of global Government.
Global "TPTB" would assume, for a moment, all MAJOR and powerful global capitals would somehow be party to it. Like...a shadow Government kinda thing. However......

Obama just got pumped, dumped and punted like a beach ball at Spring Break. I'd find this hilarious ..... if I were currently residing anywhere ELSE. However, the fact I live in the center of the nation getting pumped, while still holding the power for a tyrant to act rashly, robs this whole situation of the humor it might otherwise have.
I'm betting Israel feels about the same way ...as power it KNOWS it absolutely couldn't win against..is now within weapons range of it's own core.
Welcome to the party, China! Better late than never to squash the Jihadi Bug once and for all and FOREVER....and I can't blame them for saying THIS snake is just too damned dangerous to play with for traditional 'for-profit' war games, as the world has done in the past.
This one (ISIS) may actually pop a nuke or get a partial yield to pop, if they can ever get physical possession of one or more. I am thinking China and Russia are both going to play this opportunity for *ALL* it is worth to exploit the shifting global power between Security Council members, as an easy way to describe all this ....while absolutely erasing a VERY REAL threat that legitimately MUST be erased.
I've said it before. I don't mind seeing other nations crush ISIS. Whatever that requires, I don't care. The end result of a world without them is what matters, and God Speed to anyone in the world that is willing to do it. No..that part? Welcome China with everyone else and make a grand ass kicking party of this, with ISIS as the world's guest of honor.
I just worry about the aftermath. How does this play for a region in open shooting conflict elsewhere, and unlikely to be changed by the end of ISIS (they'll change names...again..in North Africa and elsewhere..but not what they do). Are Russian and Chinese military commands going to see this through, with all that entails for good and..ahem..BAD (from US perspective, to be sure)....or are they just going to bunker in Syria when it's 100% clear and clean to bunker in, and build their more strategic position at the Eastern end of the Med?

Russia has carried out a series of deadly airstrikes against the terrorist group over the last few days and Vladimir Putin has now sent the country's most elite special forces team into the war zone.
And speculation is heightening that offensive will be bolstered by the China's People's Liberation Army, following a number of reports of military movements in the region backed up by strong words from a senior government member at a United Nations meeting.

China has also shown solidarity with Syria, joining Russia in vetoeing UN proposals against Bashar al-Assad, which are likely to prevent him being referred by the council to the International Criminal Court.
The latest actions at the UN conference have come amid reports, citing key military sources, Chinese warships have made their way to Syrian shores through the Suez Canal.
It was said China's J-15 warplanes would launch from an aircraft carrier for attacks on ISIS.
