Can crowdfunding save this town from white supremacy

This is an interesting story. In fact, it really got my attention, to imagine a White Superman group trying to buy a whole town for effective control.

Then..I did a little more reading..and saw the mayor probably deserved everything one comment said to him at the source, except perhaps the 'SJW' part, which I assume is some biggoted attack....tho I could be wrong.

Still? They spent $35,000 to preserve a "town" with a $20,000 budget?? I appreciate the fact this little "town" has become a family affair to who owns it and lives there now ..which is almost a literal statement by population alone. Still.....really?!

Really guys?? A whole 27 people? So..is there anyone there who isn't related, or is nepotism just a way of life in this "town" of theirs? When I see numbers like that, related to actions like this? I have a natural tendency to ask ...who is actually worse? The town who ran people off to a population JUST over two dozen....or the White Supermen who follow delusions of grandeur and might just be good to keep track of, if they concentrate in one spot like that? What does 'rush hour' look like in that town anyway? 2-3 cars on the street and maybe a person in a crosswalk at the same time?

Either way ... Is there even any guidelines to how small or how abandoned a town can get before it isn't a "town" anymore, but just a collection of properties in county land? This one really makes me wonder on that.
