I bet there are some in the state depart who realize this stuff is insanity. They are keeping their mouths shut for fear of losing their jobs or..... they are totally stupid. I guess the USA and NATO are lucky some great Alien power has not declared them a terrorist organization state and decided for a regime change.

Turkey was going non radical about 20 years ago but alas they too are being influenced by the radical elements of ISlam which has nothing really to do with the linked article .... but... you reap what you sow... sometimes it just takes a while to harvest the crop.
:cheer: I hope Russia kicks butt and shoots anyone with a gun or a black flag on sight.. Many years ago in a war far far away the USA bombed Laos and Cambodia to get at the supplies and enemy. It was all hush hush but that was the only way to stop, (they thought) the infiltration...

Turkey has training camps and safe areas for the so called freedom fighters.. It really would be interesting if Russia just says screw you for thinking you have the right to overthrow a government, secular or not and cleans out those camps.. Will NATO or the USA gamble on losing one of their major cities over a bunch of sand people ? Maybe and maybe not.(one NATO country gets attacked all the other members are supposed to defend and render aid).. Let us hope it does not come to that.. China may act like "leave us out of this" or saddle up with Russia and let NATO and the USA know they are ready able and prepared to help Russia..

I think all this stuff is actually interesting... But I always liked seeing a bully get his butt beat and then have a change of heart.. If no change of heart beat some more.... sooner or later he will change or have to crawl everywhere. You ever been chased by a crawling bully ? Naw I didn't think so.. hahahah
