Now F-35 has ejection seat problems

I used to know the speeds at which a successful ejection could be made. Arms broken and skin abraded is not that unusual.. Go down the highway doing 70 MPH and stick your arm outside your car window.. Now think about doing that at 300,400,500.etc etc MPH..

An yes a heavy helmet and the "G" forces of the ejection seat rocket can snap a neck like a dry twig tangled in a goat's butt.. That is why the pilots brace and know the speeds at which a safe ejection in their particular aircraft can be initiated. The F-111 ejected the whole cockpit which for its' time was very civilized..
