Today, nearly an hour ago I replied to a thread on another website I will call for the sake of arguement the 'Abusive Tracking System'. The thread was issued by a user who was disheartened with the site having seen it in better days. Within the first minutes it had attracted attention from the 'Superior Oaf'. He calmly tried to retract all claims by using many of the vast techniques one learns from 'the department'.
I came in feeling somewhat the same as the original poster and said nothing that violated their policies in the least, I'm not that stupid. I was respectful, but honest in my sadness for the loss of many friends I knew there. The great loss has amounted to much regurgitation and social positioning of material do to the lack of critical thought and absence of real personal dialogue for fear of humiliation.
But mainly it was a time to reflect back on the days where John would post endlessly in his OCD manner, to inform us of everything from spotting internet trolls to the destruction of our past. It was a time where we could read about a user being hunted down by clouds. It was a time where even cryptic messages were delivered with only us to decipher. And ultimately it was a time where even a rock on mars shaped as a squirrel could get it's moment in the spotlight.
Those days are unfortunately gone now lost due to the chaos of management decisions to save a dying company, to the oblivion of the internet and Facebook.
Suddenly I received 3 separate private messages, the first one deleting my post, fining me arbitrary points and letting me know what I did was very wrong, a major violation, yet in reality, this time I really said nothing. The second message came just as quick deleted my picture which has been up for 5 years for being too large. The third one informed me I was unable to be seen anymore and ended with 'reply' if I needed a reason to. A remark the others did not share.
Feeling like the lion now in the beautiful book by C.S.Lewis, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" I hesitated to reply at first, but I didn't understand why. . .
As I lie there in thought I felt a great strength come over me, I finally realized what had happened. I was worried my retirement S&F fund would be erased from history, neglecting me that luxurious cottage I once dreamt of owning in the twilight of my life, by the lake you all know.
So with all my strength I mustered enough will to type my final message. To all those that blindly follow orders with no merit, to all those that are hesitantly holding on to the corrupt, intolerant, financial agenda, to all those that are to deny ignorance instead of which are denying intelligence. I gave my final reply with all the heart and soul of a thousand banned accounts:
GO F _ _ _ YOURSELVES!
And say hello to MySpace on the way down!
Well, I hope you enjoyed my amusingly sarcastic way of finally saying good bye to the old and hello to the new and yes this just did happen.
I can only dream that a certain 'Superior Oaf' will someday read this preferably when he's looking for something new to do. A man his age should of watched "Happy Day's" a bit more intently.
If this is crossing the line in any way I'm very sorry but for some reason I just seem to unconsciously do this.
Can't wait to have more time to add truly informative threads to this eagerly awaiting awesome community.
Love you all and good night, AB
