Obama to nominate first openly gay service secretary. . .

I honestly haven't given much credence to the stories about Obama's "trists" either, and I still give 0 credit to 'tales' of Obama in bars, or "carousing" with guys who met bad ends. The powers that helped him ascend would have and so easily could have chosen someone other than him, as an individual, if he had such openly ugly things (gay or straight for that matter) in his past. 

Its probably safe to say actually gay isn't right either, unless he's like many closeted gays who 'pass' a family life, for a good part of their life. Why hide it, if he's bi or actually is gay and passing? Well, he would have lost the 2012 election for one. America is tolerating a lot out of him, and his elections are funny anyway. Not fraud, and he won fair and square, in anything but landslides...and with the very heavy loading of geographic areas for electoral college impact on numbers. 

It wouldn't even have been a gay or bi-sexual President if it had come out prior to the election, which would have sunk him like a row boat on the wrong end of a howitzer. it would have been the scam he smugly played for an entire 1st term, in presenting himself as something very different for the executive leadership position of the most powerful nation on Earth....which we still ARE in raw, deployable power, whatever others may be working toward catching up to. 

Why hide it now? Dunno...He might as well come out, if there is a thing to come out about...and I'm not saying there is. I'm just observing his VERY heavy weight toward that focused agenda, aside and sometimes over others with importance. Like the cohesion and morale of our armed services, while multiple shooting wars abroad either directly involve us, or very quickly could if things get worse or wider for conflict. 

Then again, perhaps he still will come out.

Given how he has played the Birth Cert issue like a Maestro for the true conspiracy enthusiasts to go wild about, it wouldn't surprise me in any real way at this point (and yeah, I know, he was born in Hawaii. What he wants private off that cert isn't citizenship related or legally significant, IMO...but still HIGHLY important). He'd just time it for maximum political benefit, as everything else is for his life.

I don't care that he's gay. I'm just sad at the lip-service paid to veterans and the insults they receive from the government while on active duty and as retired.

The military hasn't been treated this badly since the 70's.

Yes...I have noticed his use of the military has been...interesting to watch. Even a bit painful, at times.

Don't the Marines like that one above know? The nation WOULD understand if they just took the boy by the ears and bitch slapped him a few times. Really! The Corps would discharge them like flushing a commode after a long weekend of partying...but hey, there is life after the Corps, and most of the nation would name schools after the guy or something!

Oh..what I wouldn't pay to see Obama bitch slapped just a few times by someone like a proud United States Marine. He so RICHLY deserves at least that much before he strolls off from his rampage of our nation.
