Bob Lazar came forward in November, 1989, to expose Area 51 and tell about the remains of 9 extraterrestrial vehicles there being reversed engineered, among other things that were being tested.

Since giving the interview, he lost his job, was labeled a hoaxer, and lost all credibility for being a scientist due to his credentials "mysteriously disappearing". None of his co-workers wanted to come forward to offer support for fear of suffering the same fate, which made matters even worse!
But recently a co-worker did come forward to say he knows for a fact that Bob Lazar worked at Area 51 as a top ranking scientist...
Took him long enough!!
Below is probably the latest video of an interview by George Knapp with Lazar, having come full circle to where it all began in an interview by Knapp that ruined his life almost 3 decades ago, to where he is today.
Lazar has turned down movie deals, and tried to stay out of the public eye, but being labeled "the UFO guy" has remained with him since his first interview with Knapp and made him a person of "special interest" to the UFO community... which he hates!
He reluctantly agreed to one last interview with Knapp, and he still stands by his original testimony of what he shared all those years ago.
After watching this video (and even before watching it) I have no doubt Lazar was telling the truth.
The length that the "Secret Space Program" will go to to ensure their secrets remain secret holds no boundaries. (Actually, I'm surprised they allowed him to live.)
Such talent wasted!!
Bob Lazar set the course for other whistle-blowers to come forward, and since his first interview, the numbers have been many.

The scientist, Robert Scott Lazar, said he had worked in the S-4 section of Area 51, a corner of the Nevada Test Site. There, he had read documents indicating the existence of ongoing research on an "anti-gravity reactor" for use in propulsion systems. He was astonished, he said, but he was even more shocked to be shown nine flying discs "of extraterrestrial origin" stored in a hangar.
As part of the gravity-harnessing propulsion, the craft used an element, 115, unknown on Earth, because it is "impossible to synthesize an element that heavy here on Earth. . . . The substance has to come from a place where super-heavy elements could have been produced naturally."
From the recovered craft the U.S. government had collected some 500 pounds of the stuff.
Adding apparent credibility to Lazar's testimony were persistent reports (chronicled even in the respected Aviation Week & Space Technology) of bizarre lights over the test site-craft maneuvering in ways beyond the capacity of known aviation technology. These reports are almost certainly genuine.

Lazar's tales, on the other hand, are almost certainly bogus. Investigations raised serious questions about his reliability. His claims about his education and employment could not be verified, and his character proved to be questionable. In 1990 he was arrested for his involvement with the operation of a Nevada brothel.
