I heard through the grapevine that a beloved (one of my favorite TOS members) has passed away, I went to make sure before I wrote this.

I am in shock at the moment, but wanted to come by and let you guys know that Rising Against has passed away. I spent many a days U2Uing him concerning some of our most favorite subjects, and I am very sad that he is gone.

I never really conversed with him. But I did enjoy his threads.

It is such a shame. He was very young, 21 or 22, and he had a little baby. This child will miss out on knowing and learning from RA. I think that is so sad.

My prayers go out to his family and friends.

RA. Can't believe it. Billy is one of the few who's had my personal email, where we discussed things out from TOS boundaries. Damn. I'm shocked.

Damn! Now that does put a pause to the start of my day. RisingAgainst (or just..Mr Kennedy..as I thought of him, for his extensive original work on the topic) was one of my favorite post contributors, and then, one of the people I respected most as a fellow staff member at TOS.

(sigh) Now that is a loss, and one we're all just a little lessened by. He was one of the good guys, in every way.

Aye.

I had sent him multiple personal emails to ask him to join Hernando's and found it weird that he never answered any of them. So I thought that perhaps he didn't want to put himself in a zone of conflict with TOS or that he just changed his personal addy - even though I had never gotten a message sent back saying so..

Now I know why. Damn. When Billy had revamped and restarted the Research area on TOS, we were in constant communication. By far, he was one of the best persons that I've ever had the chance of turning personal with - to a point though - never would have thought he was this sick. He just was telling me he had 'issues to deal with' which I thought were regarding his Mom.

A big loss. Not just for TOS as that is how they're taking it but a big loss for anyone that knew him a bit. Yeah..still hard to believe.

RIP Billy. Condolences to family & friends.

seems to be a lot of people dying lately, there has to be a conspiracy in it somewhere.

I'm sorry to hear of anyone dying.....unless they are suffering a lot and there is no hope and they want to just pass on. I have known many people who were ready to go but suffered a lot before they finally got to go.

Enjoyed reading his threads/comments
Had the utmost respect for him and hate to see him gone at such a young age as you guys stated

He will be missed!!

Crap! Not RA! This day started with such promise (for me anyways) and ended with such tragedy (once again IMO). But RA is now above and beyond such trivial matters and is free. I believe that we dishonor him by being saddened by his passing, and rather we should help all celebrate his life and wish him best in the next realm.

But the truth is...we are mortal, and we cannot help but be saddened. Safe journeys Billy! See ya on the other side OK?
