Shemitah 2015 - Prophecy or Quackery? September ?

Everything happens in cycles, from astronomical alignments to birth cycles. If every time we had a financial problem it was in 9 month intervals it would be called the pregnancy financial cycle. We have weather cycles, seasonal cycles, sun cycles, plant and harvest cycles, women even have cycles we don't want to talk about out of fear of getting our heads handed to us cycles. Not very much happens that isn't in some sort of cycle. Now the eggheads get together and predict cycles, financial, tax, banking, spending, etc. 

The part I find interesting about the nature of cycles is nobody appears to be learning anything from them, we keep repeating the same cycle mistakes over and over. If I said every 7 years we were going to have a market crash like we do, why does everyone sound dumbfounded as to why? In this case it is the Semitah cycle. The difference is it was discussed in biblical times, so therefore because it was said by God even in reference to planting cycles it is ignored. It's in the bible what the heck do they know??? 

Cycles are the essence of the phrase "Somethings never change" and really they don't. Now if you think out front and study these cycles your chances for success are greatly enhanced. This is why wall street pays mathematicians so much money. Statistical predictions based on cyclic actions, then they create fancy algorithms and do computerized high frequency trading (HFT). Sitting on their yacht in the harbor counting their money the computer generates for them. While the rest of us try to find two nickels to rub together to by food for the kids next week. This is the reason we need to explain to our children and grandchildren why they need to stay in school and study math. 

You can make millions in sports with a short body crunching career, or make 100's of millions with a life long career in financial markets using you brain power and some serious math. When you're ready to retire you won't have any brain injuries to slow you down. 

I'll have to watch more of this guy. I like how he brings up a subject for discussion without totally buying into the subject matter. He even questions it often without sounding condescending.
