Now this is an attention grabber and a rare thing to see! The FBI is eating one of its own, and I just HAD to see what THIS one was about.
What kind of shooting could it have been, eh?
Something especially evil? (Recall the flashbang in the occupied baby crib awhile back..for how bad this is getting these days). Another Ruby Ridge and a trigger-happy HRT agent we missed hearing about?
No... This guy gets a REAL idiot award. I mean..the blue ribbon!
Now that doesn't sound too bad yet, right? Although it IS New York, where they probably expect you to take a round to a vital organ before defending yourself off-duty..still? What could he have done SO wrong, the FBI would break ranks to tear up their own guy??

WASHINGTON — For the first time in decades, the F.B.I. is trying to fire an agent for intentionally shooting a suspect, after finding that the agent violated bureau policy when he wounded an unarmed man who had apparently helped break into his Lexus outside his home in Queens.

The agent, who was off duty, fired at the man from a second-story window, hitting him in the back. The man claimed that he was running away when the agent shot him, but a government investigation concluded otherwise. Still, the bureau deemed the decision to fire a “bad shoot,” in agents’ parlance.
Well, I'll be damned. A regular Charles Whitman we have here, and who knew?? (smirk) He missed his calling for HRT. Really...woulda made a crack shot.

At least our marksman goes out feeling special. If he was looking to make his mark at the FBI? He sure did.
It is extraordinarily rare for the F.B.I. to deem improper an intentional shooting by one of its agents. The bureau faulted the agent for violating its lethal force policy about six months after The Times reported that the F.B.I. had found to be justified at least 150 consecutive shooting episodes dating at least to 1993.
