Well, this is a bit odd...
It isn't the crash that makes me really wonder. Helicopters crash. Yes, they do. After playing with some helcipter simulations and seeing how easy they are to crash, and how hard to just hold a hover? I'm surprised they don't fall out of the sky more often.
Still....There is something odd here..

Okay, so we had 17 people onboard.. Hmm...

So.... Someone tell me...
A U.S. Army helicopter crashed while landing on a Navy ship during training Wednesday off Japan's southern island of Okinawa, injuring seven people and damaging the aircraft, officials said.
The H-60 helicopter made a hard landing on the USNS Red Cloud cargo vessel around 20 miles (30 kilometers) east of Okinawa, U.S. Forces Japan said in a statement, adding that the cause was under investigation. Okinawa is home to most of the tens of thousands of U.S. troops in Japan.

The other 10 people aboard the helicopter were not hurt, said Japanese coast guard spokesman Shinya Terada.
Japanese national broadcaster NHK showed video of the helicopter sitting on the cargo ship, with its tail broken off and its body partly covered with an orange tarp.

The UH-60A is equipped with troop accommodations for eight, which can be removed to accommodate four full-sized medical litters. The Black Hawk can transport 11 fully equipped combat soldiers in an assault ready configuration, or 14 in a maximum capacity situation. Maximum troop carrying capacity is 20 lightly equipped personnel. The dedicated medivac variant of the Black Hawk can accommodate 6 litters.

It is a sunny day out there. I can see by the tarp and other light things on deck, wind conditions don't look serious or even a real concern.
...So are they in the habit of tarping the passenger/crew area of an aircraft accident that had only light and minor injuries?
I see... Must be..some reason for that. It couldn't be that it wasn't as free of fatality as they suggest? naww... They always tell the truth, and there is some other logical reason for that scene to look that way.
