Hamas has arrested a Dolphin and they apparently insist this was no flipper!
In fact, the organization believes the dolphin is actually an Israeli spy.
For real though: Army Radio reported that the dolphin was decked out with "spying equipment," including cameras, when it was captured by Hamas' naval unit. While The Times of Israel reports that the Israeli Navy has a fleet of "dolphin-class submarines," Hamas was definitely talking about an actual dolphin.
Well, why not. Saudi Arabia arrested a Falcon, as I recall, sometime last year. It had the misfortune of crossing between Israel's southern port and the Saudi border. Doom on the poor bird, as that was enough to detain as a spy too.
Paranoid folks, or creative use of the wildlife?

Hamas arrests dolphin accused of being an Israeli spy
And then what? Prosecute it?
Wow...it gets better...
However, since dolphins are some of the smartest mammals on the planet, perhaps they are more likely to actually be spies than, say, the "trained sharks" that Israel allegedly used to target Egypt.
"Allegedly used to "target" Egypt.
Some people just spend too much time watching cheap Hollywood movies...
I guess the playful dolphins are the Palestinian ones..and the nasty Dolphins that get all weird on people are the evil Israeli ones. (trying hard not to laugh)
*In reality, I imagine they MIGHT have used a Dolphin for intel work. Our side was using them clear back to Vietnam in harbor clearing programs (I guess some got tired of throwing hand grenades over to clear the water occasionally). Sharks tho?? SHARKS?! Umm... Okay, Sharknado I II and...for all our sins..yes..even a part III...was all the torture with 'smart sharks' I think my poor little mind ever needs exposed to. I'm already scarred for life from those three movies.
Some things..once seen..cannot be unseen.
So I'll be a skeptical bunny on the evil, intelligence agency serving wildlife...especially..umm.. Sharks. (No.. Just.. No.)
