Explanation: I saw this on TOS and was disgusted by the lack of understanding held by many TOS members ...
Some things I wish to point out ...
The targets were not overly mobile and were preparing to stand over and execute two people.
There were 3 SAS shooters and they had been tipped off in advance.
The used 50cal sniper rifle [wiki] with a ... Muzzle velocity 853 m/s (2,799 ft/s) Effective firing range 1,800 m (1,969 yd)
and were shooting to a range of 1000m. The three bullets were fired within 1 second of each other [2 simultaneously after the 1st shot] and they took just over 1 second to reach their targets faster than the speed of sound.
The sniper rifles have a MOA [minute of arc] of about 1-3 MOA, depending on quality of the gun, and this would be between 10 and 30 inches at 1000m and this is well within the limits of a well trained marksman to hit a bullseye after accounting for all other variables at play.
Personal Disclosure: The baseless claims made by TOS members, that these highly skilled individuals did not make these headshots, does not stand up to scrutiny!

Snipers are not infallible. But they are highly trained and proficient. But hell, if a .50 BMG round hits you in the shoulder, chances are your head is still going to go flying in another direction. That round makes things go *POOF!* in a red mist real quick.
Hit a guy in the hand with one and he'll likely lose his arm right along with it and bleed out rather quickly.

Unless it was a Raufuss Round....
A rather nasty piece of equipment and used to be for sale on the net when you could find them. Personally I think they should engrave every Raufoss round with ISIS leaders names, just for the fun of it. Of course engraving the bullet should take place before explosive insertion.
I would be jealous if Mr. Doug got to shoot some at the appropriate enemy. I call them the red vapor round.
