Holy Moly! Obama would have the family pet voting by Internet, if he could!

It is only "conceptually"?! My Political Science instructor was an old bird who had been around longer than Methuselah. He told the class about how poll taxes actually worked right here, in a local Missouri county and not so long ago that he wasn't able to relate to as what he saw as a kid. It hasn't "kinda" changed by concept. No black man (or any other race) in this nation, to MY knowledge is refused the ability to vote and in the same way anyone else in this nation votes by whatever the local procedures are (like, paper vs. computer screen vs. mail-in or whatever)?
Ahhh.... Why can't ANYTHING ever just be a recognition of a date, or an anniversary or whatever else? Why must everything be twisted for another political move for agenda gains?? We rarely ever SAW Bush and it was actually kinda rude how he avoided press...but by comparison? Jeeze.... I miss that kind of avoidance of the limelight to at least look like he took the job seriously.
- On ID? I've been in this debate for the better part of the last several years anyway and it is an absurd one at this point. Most anyone who is half way decent, would support FREE ISSUE of State ID, particularly when considering HOW MUCH MORE it gives a person in life, aside from just the ability to meet a voter ID requirement. It seems a bit CRUEL, in fact, for Democrats to PREFER underprivileged voters REMAIN without a basic document in life, like an ID card, than get the opportunity made into something near a free civil right. (How about THAT for a different way to stick it in their pipes to toke on? ...Defend THAT approach with any logic).
- On Early Voting? That is just an outright rip and jip to actually rig the local elections to a higher degree than they'd ever be before, by MONEY. Why? How? Well..... Think about it... If you are 'ideal strong' but 'cash poor', when are you going to focus your money to reach folks? Probably in the traditional final push to the General Election, I'd guess..... The two professional parties can flood BOTH the Early vote date AND the General Election, as separate but equally important dates. Smaller candidates in lower races can't match that ... and thank you again Obama. Its the kind of 'hope' we need change from...really.

Obama, personally, has directed the importation of voters from all over the world. Where it is most beneficial, some U.S. transport is apparently even supplied on the theory that it 'saves dangerous trips' (and the fact the people could just NOT COME that way never seems to cross any minds). The pushing has already begun to OPENLY give criminal aliens (the ones being actively imported and resettled by criteria no one can be told) the right to vote. If that fails, what is the difference if NO ID is required? Yeah, the honor system is a great one to use in our nation these days.
What was a minor issue in past years may really turn this election and change voting demographics. If enough people don't stand to fill the normally apathetic majority? Some of all this might really do permanent change this election.

A half-century after the measure outlawed practices that barred blacks or other minorities from voting, Mr. Obama said the nation had “conceptually” rejected discrimination in balloting, a mark of “huge progress.”

But, he said, “In practice, we’ve still got problems,” including laws requiring that voters show identification before casting ballots and limiting early voting, which Mr. Obama said may appear neutral, but actually “have a disproportional effect on certain kinds of folks voting.”

“In theory, everybody’s in favor of the right to vote; in practice, we have state legislatures that are deliberately trying to make it harder for people to vote,” Mr. Obama said.
