Ahhh yes... Obama the Orator...or Obama the speech reader. he damn sure hasn't got the brains God gave a billy goat when it comes to public perception or Iran. In fact, he seems to believe his poop has the aroma of fresh cut roses or some such delusion. He must....to think this comparison was a GOOD idea?!
There ARE moments in history, I've learned over time, where you can feel the fact you are watching a historic moment as its happening. I'd say this is one of those moments.... I couldn't have paid for a better 'eat your own foot and ask for seconds' moment out of this idiot, but hey, idiocy is ONE thing Obama DOES deliver with stunning regularity, for some areas of policy anyway.
Yeah... This was a BRILLIANT comparison to make. The largest foriegn policy screw up, leading to the largest overseas disaster for US forces since Vietnam.....and he figures that is a POSITIVE thing to compare with, in ANY sense of the term?? It just puts a cherry on the cupcake to be reminded his own #2 (and possible candidate himself) Biden was all for the Iraq war...and Kerry? Well...Crap floats with the current ..and Kerry..floats along with the best of 'em. (Clinton just likes death..so I won't even dignify her support for war with more than that)
Some people may have forgotten his top people are consistent in only BEING WRONG in the past tho...and I must say, Obama is such a nice guy to remind us of that, at such a key moment.

Now that is one area I DO agree with him on. This IS a vote of war and peace. If what this Government has cooked up under a traitor is passed...We'll have war. Likely within a month or two on the outside...and I'll give a 50/50 set of odds, shots are fired within 24 hours of the U.S. Congress approving this. How many bodies will fall, before the people following Valerie Jarrett realize the price of treason wasn't worth the 30 pieces of silver? Hopefully...the war this triggers won't claim too many Americans before its over. We can sincerely hope that, anyway.
I will say this though ... Obama figures this will define his legacy, and I agree. It certainly will. Just as the Iran Hostage crisis defined another. To carry that along? Iran helped define yet another presidency with the games and double/triple crossing around Beirut hostages in the 1980's. So it will be, Iran will define a 3rd President's legacy then, likely in utter humiliation and defeat, like the last two (The Iranians seem to particularly enjoy that..and this will be their 3rd run over a U.S. President, foolish enough to lay down for them).
President Barack Obama is depicting a looming congressional vote on the Iran nuclear deal as the nation's most consequential foreign policy debate since the authorization of the Iraq war, a now unpopular decision that still reverberates through American politics.

While Obama was an early opponent of the Iraq war, several of his top foreign policy advisers voted for the 2002 authorization, including Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State John Kerry, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination. They now say the war was a mistake.

Obama has presented the choice before lawmakers as one of war and peace. During a private meeting Tuesday with American Jewish leaders, Obama said that if Congress blocks the deal, the only option he or the next president would have for stopping Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is military action.
