Old Glory is an American flag created from over 20,000 Budweiser bottle caps by artist John T. Unger. Each cap is individually punched, crimped and then nailed to plywood to form the image. Measuring ten feet tall by sixteen feet wide, for a total of 160 square feet, Old Glory is Unger's largest bottle cap artwork to date.
Commissioned by Golden Voice and Budweiser for the Stagecoach Music Festival, Old Glory was on display in Indio, CA from April 24 to the 26th of 2015.
Brings new meaning to cap and trade doesn't it?
Personal Disclosure: All bad puns aside it is a great sculpture!
It would take around nine years at a six pack a day to get that many caps. It's a pretty expensive flag. Maybe Budweiser gave him the caps to make that as advertising.
"Brings new meaning to cap and trade doesn't it? " ....
Only rickymouse, would do the math at 9 years with a six pack a day.... But we are missing the best part what did he have to eat with it, to not let that much beer have an effect??
BTW I respect your knowledge on the food and it's effects on the body human, I am continuing the testing with sourdough. I want to make sure I am gluten free for a few days and try it again. But at first blush I would say it doesn't have the same effect as a regular piece of bread or muffin along those line. If the sourdough works, get out of construction and do the public a favor and do nutrition we need someone with a clue. Thanks.
There are a lot of good effects of drinking a few bottles of beer a day for some people. Other people who can't break down some of the metabolites and alcohol properly should actually not drink much. There are a lot of good vitamins and food chemistries in beer if used in moderation. But as you said, the rest of the diet needs to be assessed to find if it is really good for you.
Glad you are checking out sourdough bread. Also, whole grain Rye flour has enzymes that break down gluten as part of it's chemistry. Sometimes it is the chemistry created by certain organisms that make bread rise that bothers people, that is why sour dough may offer a better choice. Some people tolerate the sourdough better. There is no right or wrong, just personal symbiotics that need to be considered.
