Ahh ..isn't the onset of the protest season a wonderful thing? Why..we didn't even HAVE a protest "season" before we elected our little community organizer to light fire to our nation.
However..There are far more important things than a skyrocketing murder rate across major US cities...or the growing disrespect for police as they are shot in the street now. Save the whining about poor people, hunger, lack of work or racism (unless a White is being hateful). There are more important matters for a Mayor! Oh indeed..... City matters are for...lesser people. I guess. (so how do they elect a person to just do city business, anyway??)
The picture for the story is Bill De Blasio..or the Goober of New York who even his own Police won't show respect toward. If he isn't the poster child for 'everywhere but MY city, for my efforts!', then I don't know what one looks like.

Indeed... We need to double down on selling out everything we have left for productive industry at Paris, and time is wasting to brainwash up some support.... After all, I think Obama left us something to stay solvent with after the China climate agreements. Can't have that, now can we?

Dozens of environmentally friendly mayors from around the world demanded Tuesday that their national leaders take bold steps at the Paris climate talks this year, saying that may be the last chance to keep the warming of the Earth at levels safe for humanity.
Some 60 mayors gathered Tuesday at the Vatican for a two-day climate conference to keep the pressure on world leaders ahead of the Paris negotiations in December and to promote Pope Francis' environmental encyclical, which denounced the fossil fuel-based world economy that exploits the poor and destroys the Earth.

In his remarks to the meeting, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced new greenhouse gas emissions targets for the Big Apple and urged other cities to follow suit.
"The Paris summit is just months away," De Blasio said. "We need to see it as the finish line of a sprint, and take every local action we can in the coming months to maximize the chance that our national governments will act boldly."
