If you're having problems logging in today and it seems worse than yesterday? It is not your imagination. ProBoards is having some sort of serious network performance or related issues and the matter is entirely beyond our control.
I have a note in with PB support to see if we can do anything to mitigate the service failures, but I am not hopeful on that. What I am hoping is that they get their end straightened out sooner than later, and we can return to normal function here.
Again..the issue here is real, but it is within the ProBoards service network and beyond our control. I'm very sorry about this..and I can simply say we are working very hard on measures that began well before this came up to insure this sort of disruption becomes a thing of our past.

If they are, they don't seem to be saying, as I didn't spot anything quickly on their support forum about it.
We had a couple people outright leave the site for the day yesterday, including a staff member, for how bad it was getting. So, it sure isn't in anyone's imagination or 'something on your end'.

Too late!! I just lost a thread that took me almost an hour to post! When I hit the "create post" button it wouldn't post, then gave me an error message. When I finally got back on, all my work was gone!
I dunno.. I was just looking at Drudge Report, loading a story about Satellite Evidence of no statistical global warming for 21 years now...when we got a banner "You're company is being hacked!". We closed everything, then went back and looked..and that headline was off Drudge. A matter of seconds...with that problem coming in-between.
Umm... If I hadn't been standing there at my wife's screen to see it? I wouldn't have believed it. I've never actually been on DURING an issue like that, to see before/during/after
** That could also have been pure coincidence, and that banner could have been a spam thing...and I'd have taken it as nothing more..if it hadn't covered the story I was reading, to find had vanished from the headline list too.
It isn't much yet, but it is a response. PB Support has indicated their network techs are looking into it and trying to resolve whatever is causing the issues.
There was also another web site's staff pop in to confirm they are having the same issues...so PB support could see by just that, it is a wider problem and certainly not specific to our site with the network.
I know, it doesn't help answer when things will return to being stable, but at least we know it is being worked.
I began having slow loading issues two days ago. Yesterday, the site kept going down, and today doesn't seem much better. My frustration level is being stretched to the max!
Maybe it's time for Hernando's to do a "GoFundMe"...to make it so this will never happen again...
Can't have such glitches when everyone's "good day" depends on instant access to everything they want instant access to...
Thanks for the updates, and...showing that you care for us...

I have been "Server-Side"...and experienced the kinds of tragedies that only Tech Bunnies can understand.
Stayed at the office/servers 24 hours straight...went home, got in bed, and was called, because the 24-hour fix didn't work...and had to go back to the office for another 12 hours.
After a good course of that, it is almost impossible to go to sleep... Just hoping to pass out or have a stroke, or something.
