You know things are simply hitting a low point, and war has gone on entirely too long when things like this start happening, and actually? They don't even rate major headlines.

Ummmm...... yeah... Perhaps some attention to maintenance, if problems like this are occurring? Then again? I'd suggest a path for aircraft that isn't taking loaded wings right over civilian neighborhoods? I mean, they were returning to base because they saw a problem, not developing one as they were already over the city (I can see how that last situation would leave no options, but this wasn't)
I am getting the impression skill and Air Force are not terms the Iraqis know as commonly joined ones.
