There is absolutely nothing worse in this world than a corrupt cop. Unique from almost any other position in society, a cop has a level of trust and responsibility that makes 'going bad' a VERY bad thing, no matter how small the corruption starts, or may be when caught. No corruption, in the hands of absolute power, can be tolerated..in my opinion. None. Ever.
This little lady took corrupt cop to a whole new level, if proven guilty on this anyway.
To read this story, this "cop" reads like any other dirt bag thief her fellow officers would bag and tag in routine arrests. She wasn't intelligent about it, showed no creativity and obviously, had NO integrity whatsoever.

I picture this in my mind and it's outrageous! She is called to check the well being of a guy, finds him dead..and what? Figures he won't be needing his credit cards anymore, so she may as well?? I can't fathom what would bring a "cop" to do something like this. All I can take from it is, this woman was never a cop to begin with. She wore the uniform, and she coasted her way onto the job...but I'll be damned if someone stealing card cards of bodies has anything like the mindset of a cop, or likely EVER did.
I hope they throw her UNDER Riker's Island. What a scumbag. Absolute, total, scumbag!

As CBS2’s Tony Aiello reported, prosecutors said Officer Ymmacula Pierre, 30, stole credit card information from a dead man to make her pricey purchase.
The order was placed last summer at Zales.com. The diamond ring came to more than $3,200 with tax.
A credit card belonging to Kenneth Sanden, 65, of Union Square was used as payment. But Sanden had died two days before that.

Pierre, 30, is a three-year NYPD veteran. Investigators said she was dispatched to Sanden’s building on 14th Street last July to check on him after he missed work, and found him dead.
According to the indictment against Pierre, she secretly helped herself to the dead man’s phone and credit card number, and ordered the pricey ring.
Investigators said Officer Pierre took several steps to try to hide her illegal internet jewelry shopping.
