Rubio seems to be one of those 'these little laws are for other people' people. Hmmm
I don't have much humor for this, personally. Perhaps it was seeing too many accident scenes from passing above, and a few feet away through the years as a trucker. Too many vehicles I remember as I sit here, speeding past....to BE that accident scene down the road later. Idiots with self delusion of their own ability and the sense that it put no one else in danger...
I don't just mean 5-10mph over the posted numbers..because, hey, who doesn't? They have far less respect for the little laws than just that.
That ran from speeding to blowing red lights...which sure isn't necessarily a small thing.

Well isn't that just special. I guess it really pays to 'be somebody'. I had to go through hell and a court appearance to beat a red light ticket for a car I'd SOLD weeks before it appeared on a camera. I was told then that I was among a very few to ever beat a red light ticket on merit, and it took proving with paperwork that I'd sold it and with more than one method of proof. (sigh)
I think we've seen enough years of lawless disregard from a man on the extreme left. I'll really take a HUGE pass on helping to elect the same thing with a Right twist.
I don't think its asking too much that the man leading a nation based on law, show a history for having SOME level of respect for it.
Senator Marco Rubio has been in a hurry to get to the top, rising from state legislator to United States senator in the span of a decade and now running for president at age 44.
But politics is not the only area where Mr. Rubio, a Republican from Florida, has an affinity for the fast track. He and his wife, Jeanette, have also shown a tendency to be in a rush on the road.

A review of records dating back to 1997 shows that the couple had a combined 17 citations: Mr. Rubio with four and his wife with 13. On four separate occasions they agreed to attend remedial driving school after a violation.

Things got more complicated in 2011 when Mr. Rubio was alerted to the fact that his license was facing suspension after a traffic camera caught him failing to stop at a red light in his beige Buick. His lawyer, Alex Hanna, paid a $16 fee to delay the suspension and eventually it was dismissed.
