Japan, Highest Alert, Evac Warnings After Volcano Erupts

Well that's not good what the hell is going on with Japan way too many bad things happening in such a sequence...

When I read the title on the side bar it was the first thing I thought. But.. does the technology exist? It would have to be a spaced based weapon and to what end? What would Japan have done or are they an example of someone else? Hint... Man this tin hat is getting tight. You always keep me thinking.

Neat. I like volcanoes. I like them going off at least five hundred miles away though. I'm content to watch them on the net. People who live near a volcano usually know there is a risk of an eruption and that they may have to move quickly. That is part of their lives. It is just like the people in California knowing that they could have a quake anyday that could mess up their lives. They live in a beautiful place but there is risk in that place.

I just can't figure out why property values are so high in high risk places. You would think that they would be low. You would think that insuring a place in a high risk place would be much more expensive yet in this country they have historically spread out the costs to people who do not live in risky areas.

Life will go on for most of these people, it is not the end of the world. I would leave if they told me to and I lived there.

There in will be the problem, time to break out the Ninja's and get this crapola over with.  Time for swords and pointy sticks as they say in the hills of Virginia.

The Ring of Fire is waking up for real....and this ain't cool to live through anywhere on this planet if it continues to escalate activity.

Man couldn't do this if his wildest ego fueled dreams tried their best. Man can't stop it either...with all the technology and prayers we can muster. Nature at her most raw....and so far beyond our ability to influence for scales of power alone...

We can only hope this is a bump in routine activity and not a rising trend to continue....and there remains one 1,000 mile stretch of the Ring of Fire that remains as relatively quiet as ever ....unnerving that way. Very unnerving. I'd feel better if the US West Coast threw a 6 or 7 occasionally, while every other part of the ring is doing exactly that.

After watching this video... Tell me about Global Warming again and mans affect...

Ok I watched the full size view, that is very interesting. Not because I can make out for sure it is a UFO and not a plane but because it was so totally unaffected by the blast wave from the eruption. When you look at the after pictures of Mt. Saint Helens eruption for miles there was a forest of trees knocked flat and no one survived that was remotely close. And yet this UFO just flies right by no worries. Very interesting. Nice catch MW.
