Meet the 'new boss'....same as the old boss..and the good times just keep on coming. I preferred Reid, actually. At least that scumbag was upfront about being a scumbag. This piece of garbage is worse for trying to pretend he isn't the morally bankrupt power tripper he is. We sure didn't get improvement!
Of course...the details to this are LITERALLY Classified. We cannot be trusted to know how we're about to get the shaft again ...and to think. People imagined changing just a few people would change anything at all. lol....
Dems are blue...Repubs are red. Together they form a purple pool of disgusting crap on a clean floor. Until we clean our floors...they'll continue to sell us out, one deal at a time..to anyone in the world, apparently, willing to pay enough.
So..under this deal, and with a Congress who I don't believe has *EVER ONCE* told Obama NO in a binding way, we're to trust that they'll do the right thing on a forced up/down vote? Yeah...I'm SURE it'll all work out for the best. d_hJZfC8t2FrknI9TjHM

My dislike and distrust of Unions is near legendary for the passion behind it...however, once in awhile, interests overlap and converge. It's rare because things are rarely SO BAD that such opposites in mindset can see the same outcome as being a good thing. Here...the whole nation should stand and take notice. The Unions PAY for the right to have politicians in their pocket. It is what those millions are spent for. So..this classified B.S. we're told, is not likely what they are hearing..and they're dead set against the details their pet poodles on Capital Hill are feeding them.
That tells me..this is probably a far worse deal than even we suspect ...and frankly, that is saying something, since no one I hear talking has positive thoughts toward this as it is. Not with the secrecy and 'You can't be trusted to know this stuff' condescension we're getting.
McConnell needs retired..and if Kentucky has a method of recall to fire his sorry ass...they need to do it, before he rubber stamps Obama's agenda right into our national destruction.
I'm so tired of these old men and old women who won't live, by age alone, to see or suffer what they are doing to us..AND THEY KNOW IT. They're screwing us to the wall and laughing...because old age will insure they never endure the hell their hands are shaping.
President Obama won a big victory for his trade agenda Friday with the Senate’s approval of fast-track legislation that could make it easier for him to complete a wide-ranging trade deal that would include 11 Pacific Rim nations.
A coalition of 48 Senate Republicans and 14 Democrats voted for Trade Promotion Authority late Friday, sending the legislation to a difficult fight in the House, where it faces more entrenched opposition from Democrats.

TPA’s fast-track provisions would allow Congress, under strict timelines, to consider trade deals with a simple up-or-down vote without any amendments or requirements of a Senate super-majority to end debate. That would help Obama complete the final details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), with the other 11 nations, a bloc that represents about 40 percent of the global economy.

Unions and progressive activists have mobilized their forces against TPA for more than a year now, believing that defeating the fast-track authority would probably also kill negotiations on the Pacific trade deal.
On Friday, union leaders narrowly lost their bid for passage of an amendment designed to create strict regulation of global currency markets, offered by Sens. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), whose states have been ravaged by losses of manufacturing jobs to foreign competition.
